Thinking Of Changing To Proheart..
Rebanne replied to Red Fox's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I give valuheart every 6 weeks and have done so for the last 2 or 3 years, I break it up and put it in a bit of mince or tinned cat food. -
Make sure whoever you go with actually has had their dogs in a foster home. You get a much better idea of their true nature which is vital if there are kids or other pets to be considered.

x 2 didn't get my dremel look alike from rob but I get other bits and pieces from The Tool Store includling the sanding bands. When my current rotary tool bites the dust I will be buying from Rob.

Congratulations John!

What a rude post Makes one feel you are havng a personal go at someone perhaps? What are all the winks for? Maybe the OP is just interested in any shows that are on around the country. And someone usually posts up the melbourne shows and results, and I also noticed they are not posted this weekend and would be interested to hear any results. Obviously not interested enough to start a thread about it, unlike the OP was.. Maybe if the OP had been a bit more detailed in the post stating that they where interested in the results because they did not show, but liked the information it would have been clearer to the reader. was quite clear to most people, and why should they have to explain why they would like the results? Just admit you were rude and apologise instead of trying to justify yourself

Polar fleece blankets on the tramp beds and polar fleece blankets on top of bean bags in the actual kennels

well there's blankets and then there's blankets, the wire isn't that thick. Considering some of the places dogs sleep I don't think the wire bottom of the crate would be that bad.

Think I can manage the greyhounds
-
do they judge the dogs in the order they are printed in, in the litle book?
-
Thanks faytiges, at least I know one of mine will win baby puppy, question is - which one?
-
I've never a broken tray (yet!) but I would just put a couple of extra blankets in the crate and sit it on a tarp at a show. ETA all my crates have been off ebay
-
Bit rude don't you think. Never had that moment when what you are talking about is perfectly clear to you but not others? No?, then you must be perfect. And putting a few emoticons at the end does not make it any less rude. eta spelling

be prepared to find you have been switched from your benched area. I've been to the last 5 Royals and we have been moved at least 3 times! Possibly because there are never that many greyhounds entered but this year we have close to 20 so should stay put.

"Mr Rowbottom said he shot both the large dogs, which each weighed more than 40 kilograms, while they were attacking his sheep. "I've reported the matter to police and we'll make an insurance claim. At the time of the attack, the dogs' owner had notified the ranger and was out looking for his dogs," he said. "He was doing everything he could to find his dogs. I didn't like shooting the dogs but if they had got away they would probably have gone home and attacked someone else's sheep at another time."

Thank Dog all went well was my 1st thought then a big smile spread across my face. Congratulations on your very special litter.

Yes!!!! You shouldn't feed your dog 2hrs before and after exercise. If possible elevate their food bowl and if feeding dry food do not allow them to drink large amounts of water immediately after eating. Thank you Yes his food bowl is elevated and i always wait till he is properly cooled off before his has his dinner. Even if he does crack a case of the poopies cause he has to wait lol The jury is out on whether you should elevate their food bowls, in the greyhound community it is 50/50 up or down

are you warm inside? If so then a short hair dog will be fine. If you need to wear a coat then so would a short haired dog. -

A greyhound won't break a leg by jumping off a bed. Mine are up and down 1/2 dozen times a day. http://www.dolforums.com.au/topic/171675-greyhound/ for starters -

For God's sake some dogs hate cats, some greyhounds hate cats and you know what, some are fine with cats This is my recently deceased boy Piper who never met a cat until he was 18 months old
