  1. block off under the room as well as the pets may be peeing there and the smell wafting up. At 6 months your pup should be able to hold on over night, maybe take a look at your toilet training plan and see if you need to do more.
  2. yep I've had a fence go down because of a tree falling on it. Luckily I was home at the time.
  3. I've seen kids and grown people step out onto the road to avoid a nasty little chihuahua type crossbred, so why not step out to avoid a larger dog?
  4. sorry about your car bohunt, that's pretty bad
  5. if you want to learn about greyhounds then check out here and here. Greyhounds are (usually) calm and quiet and the ones at the Royal were not handpicked for that reason. It is a good thing they can chill out in very stressful situations. Those greyhounds on show live a greyt live which includes lot's of paddling and swimming in dams. Don't really know what went on when the GAP person visited but it does seem a lot was left unsaid.

if it is OCD, the earlier it is operated on the better the success rate. But you need xrays to diagnose it properly. If this was my dog I would get xrays first. If nothing structural showed up I would then go a chiro. I would feed a low protein food as well, an adult one.
  7. well that is not the fault of the breed, just that particular dog (and person).
  8. no doubt about it faytiges, it will be swings and roundabouts I'm sure with the boys. If I had the room both would be staying.
  9. yes I would think fostering greyhounds is not for you.
  10. Brantarby Winter Festival won the baby bitch class. She's off to Tassie in a couple of weeks!
  11. It has, I am going to keep Warrior. Stirling will do his share of winning but, at this age, Warrior is the better dog. There is nothing to choose between them personality wise, both really sweet boys.
  12. Was a greyt day. Warrior made it baby of breed 3 shows out of 3 so I guess I know which boy is staying. I left straight after grp 4 as I had a looooooong drive home and after the early start for Kyneton yesterday I was a bit eager to get home. Long haired dachie was BIG 4, saluki RU, no catalogue to see who was who
  13. And what would that achieve? It would abort this litter so she could come straight back into season, get out and get mated again, not to mention the risk of pyometra as well. The owner of this dog has proven herself far too irresponsible to own an entire bitch let alone raise a litter and if she wants to keep the dog it needs to be speyed now. might give a little breathing space to convince the hopeless dog owner to do something
  14. at the very least get her the "morning after' injections
  15. if your so called friend can't deal with a tiny amount of blood in the house from a season, where on earth does she expect this poor bitch to whelp her puppies? The f%&King backyard on a chain? and the bitch will discharge for several weeks afterwards as well.
  16. The highway end :D Coming from melb exit highway left on 2nd Kyneton exit and turn right at the roundabout..will see showgrounds on the left. will google earth it I'm cutting across from Lancefield. Doesn't your man know that us Doler's know everything
  17. I've been trying to get up Wednesday's page and get the error too, can only assume they are not up yet Sway and roving reporters
  18. whereabouts in Mollison St are the showgrounds? And don't forget Daylight Savings start Sat night so we lose an hours sleep
  19. Brantarby Winter Warrior Baby Puppy of Breed Melb Royal Brantarby Winter Knight, 2nd to Warrior in class 13 weeks old and the Royal was their very first show. Now I have to decide who to keep, huge dilemma!
  20. yes it was all done, then they were saying everyone had to be out of the pavillion by 6 as they were going to shut the gates! and people were still stuck in the car park at Flemington. Of course the gates weren't shut at 6.
  21. I would want the option written in for more then 2 puppies to go on main register if both parties agree and I would want to know what happens if there are only pet quality pups in the litter. Would you be allowed to main register the best female of the lot to breed from? It is a rare breed and while there may not be a show quality pup available there very well may be a pup suitable to continue the line.
