I am so over the incorrect entries received from people who should know better. One entry form for two different shows, oversize entry forms, tiny little envelopes, incorrect monies, no class entered, no breed on the entry form, etc and these are all from people who should know so much better including people who are show sectretaries themselves. And the ones who don't return the phone calls made when I try to fix up their mistakes :mad And people wonder why show secretaries can get crabby!!!! I don't have a beef with the newbies, go out of my way to help them, but these others, I am over it!

It isn't just my opinion. There is no evidence available that it works. Many conditions will heal on their own, and that may be attributed to homoeopathy. But in controlled double-blind trials, homoeopathy has shown to be totally ineffective. If people strongly disagree they need to provide the evidence to show they are right. We have been waiting years and no reliable evidence has ever been produced. The advocates of homeopathy are the ones that need to be careful in what they say. In my opinion homoeopathy is just a legal scam. People can disagree, but without evidence they are wasting their time arguing about it. My proof is in the dogs and how they react to a course of treatment. Some have worked some have not, same as other types of treatments. I know it has worked cause I have seen it do so. Don't need any more proof then that. I only used it once for a physical illness, it was to counteract the ill effects of a vaccination. No idea if that worked or not. But the symptoms settled, treatment or time, who knows. But I do know in some of the behavioural issues homeopathics worked when nothing else did, except for travel sickness, never found one that worked there. I used a vet formally trained in homeopathics, same as I used a vet formally trained in chiropractic and acupuncture.

It might not have worked for you but it has worked for me in the past, not for worming or fleas, but for some behavioural problems it's done it's job. I've never had a huge flea problem here, the occasional dog has had the occasional flea on them, which they are treated for, but neither they or the enviroment became flea infested by not treating regularly for fleas. Same with worms, my dogs are wormed 2 or 3 times a year when I think about it. Treating every month for things that don't exist is money down the drain. It's useless.

Rubbish, what a load of rot. My dogs are not for public consumption. If I don't want some random stranger interacting with them then what I say goes. End of Story!

Heartworm Prevention Help
Rebanne replied to RiverStar-Aura's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Over the summer months I give my guys valuheart heartworm tablets (ivermectin) on the first of each month, after the 1st March they go back to every 6 weeks. I mark the calendar. I never use a heartworm tablet that does "everything". All other flea, worming treatment is done seperately. -
couldn't have said it better myself :D

I thought the wire haired dachshund was stunning -
I don't understand why you would buy a coated dog just to clip it off? If the coat is going to be a problem why not get a short coated dog to start with?

Fern has a Bling by Firth lead and Warrior has 2 Glamour Lead's. :D

oh give up. My parents had pekes around 30 years ago as pets. Winston was as heavily coated as the BIS winner. -

I finally got mine today as well. About bloody time when some people have had theirs for over a week
-
if I accidently hurt the dog bad enough then yes I would expect to get snapped at or bitten. The dog had only been spayed 3 weeks prior, it is a major operation, she would still be healing. Big difference to having your tail trod on, and how could the dog run away with a child laying on her?
-
couldn't agree more teach your kid to respect the dog a lot more, she is a living creature not a pillow.
-
that wouldn't help the dogs that slipped and hurt themselves
-
I got my car pass and entry pass Ceilidh
-
Mine is still not here either, how come some people can have theirs and other's not?
