Keep trying with Annabel. She's often away at shows etc so might not have seen your message yet. I've bought lots of coats from her, many custom made and she's always been very helpful and quick once we sort out what I want. Wolf's Den was at shows the weekend just gone.

And if they do? You might be thanked for giving them the heads up. I think I will take the risk tomorrow when I go up the shops, if they aren't home I will put a note in their letterbox. It's a lovely little dog, I'd hate something bad to happen it. I'd also feel sorry for the dog that does react to such rudeness cause it's the one most likely to lose it's life.

Type/brands Of Heating Mats For Dog Beds -
Rebanne replied to noisymina's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I've just bought 2 of those self warming mats Sheena posted. Going to try them outside in the kennel over winter when the dogs have to be outside while I am at work. -
But you won the battle Trish!

looks pretty scared to me

if your dog ripped the mesh out of one soft crate he will rip it out of the next. I'd be buying a wire crate. I've never had a wire crate collapse on a dog but you can always cable tie it if you are worried.

public forum, people can say what they want. BTW this is the show forum not the breeding one.

My GSD bitch had no problems coming into season and lived with another desexed bitch. Greyhounds can be very slow, the line mine come from rarely come in before 16 months and often not until 2 or so.

possible, maybe they just aren't up to the standard judges think they should be.

Really this discussion has gone so off track should it not be moved into the breeds 101 forum?

Bike Tow Leash For Dogs
Rebanne replied to Roar Kingdom's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
what sort of dog do you have and does it pull on the lead? greyhounds and they walk fairly nicely on a lead with only show training, thank you for asking :D -
Because people and dogs are allowed to walk along a fence and be safe from vicious mongrels like the killer dog. They might not have even known the dog was there until it launched itself. I've been surprised more then once while out lawfully walking with and with out a dog.

Bike Tow Leash For Dogs

walkydog here and it's great. Fits just under the seat and used on dogs with no obedience training at all. -

There was a member of a group that I am also a member of on FB. They started posting up pics taken from the internet. No names, no logo's, no credit. Discussion was turning towards dogs I had bred. I very quickly put up a reminder that all my photo's are copyrighted to me. None of my photo's were put up.

Happy Birthday Stan, many more coming your way

For starters if the breed has a breed club you could ask there. You could ask here. You could look google the breed here in Aus and see what websites pop up and if they have prices on them. If you find 10 saying a pup is $1000 then most are likely around that price. If it's a rare breed it's a bit harder. You could check with vets costs of vacc's, meds, desexing.
-
good lesson learnt. If the pup you kept is stressing so bad in a familiar enviroment how on earth is his sister going?

I live 3 and 1/2 hrs from the airport. The transport company wanted $100's extra to pick pup up. I offered to drive pup to airport but did expect to have my costs covered by the buyer. If you had asked cause you did not want to pay the costs you would not get a pup from me. The pups that went overseas I also drove to the airport but as their owner was already paying very high transport costs i did it for free and worked it in with something else. I offered. I was not asked. The price for my pups covers them up to the age of 10 weeks, regular worming, microchipping, rego papers and one vaccination. Depending on the circumstances anything over that will be discussed. Transport is one thing certainly covered by the buyer. It is no good coming on here and saying "hey, new puppy buyer here" so you were not to know how these things work, when you say you research everything else and have already been here for a bit asking questions. You need to pick up the phone. Your email would raise warning flags for me too. ETA if the purchase price was extra to cover for those 2 weeks and a 2nd vaccination I do not think it unreasonable to discuss if the price is the same, over the phone, but you have to realise you changed your plans the breeder didn't.

Cold Melbourne: Fleas And Heart Worm
Rebanne replied to Jess the Lab's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I would just give a monthly heartowrm tablet every 6 weeks over the cooler months, it's what I do here in North East Victoria. I would do fleas only if I saw one. Intestinal worms 2 or 3 times a year. I do not believe in bombarding the system with chemicals that may not even be needed and certainly not all on the one day. -
if it's nothing why did you even bother starting this thread???????

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Grooming Requirement
Rebanne replied to Reese&Mia's topic in General Dog Discussion
accidents can and do happen, nobody is perfect. But most wouldn't be advertising them with a DD name.
