If you want to debark him go ahead and do it. You don't need a forum of strangers to give you their blessings.

http://www.dolforums.com.au/topic/105867-greyhounds/ would be a better thread to ask in :D I don't feed my greyhound pups, puppy food. I put them onto adult dry by 12 weeks of age. You need to grow them slowly. I don't feed them a lot of meat. I feed 2 feeds of dry and one feed of chicken necks/wings/carcass. Royal Canin is fine. I also add eggs and sardines. I rarely feed veggies. Congratulations on your pup, nothing better then a greyhound :D

Wangaratta Vet For In House Progesterone Testing
Rebanne replied to temperamentfirst's topic in Breeders Community
No but they do at Porepunkah, near Bright. http://alpinevet.com.au/ -
what if you move? what if you decide not to vaccinate every year? I found the tiny bit insurance companies covered for the routine things was way over the cost of a yearly check and vaccination, not that I do them.

I went and had a look at that Team Dog page, few nutters on there, not my cup of tea. -

budget plan, about $90 a month for the two greyhounds

Me too. They have paid out close to $5000 for one of my dogs in less then 12 months and they include alternative medicine also.

Rebanne where do you buy your parvo shot from? I'm quite comfortable giving injections and this is the only one I really would like to do a bit more often as we don't put dogs in kennels, etc Google is your friend. I prefer not to recommend any one place for this.
-
C3 is parvo, distemper and hepatitis. C4 has one strain of KC added, C5 has two strains of KC. The nasal spray has the 2 strains of KC in it. Personally, I occasionally buy online, a one dose parvo shot and do my dogs myself.

Adverse Reactions To C4 Vaccinations
Rebanne replied to waynem1966's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
what did she get this year? and is it now all 3 have reacted or only 2? She hasn't had her's this year and that's why we are seeking advice, She is the Blue one pictured and last week our 4y/o fawn female reacted for the first time as pictured. Now a week later both the fawn female pictured and our 2y/o male have had a hard lump appear on their necks roughly the size of a 50c piece.. Ok, I would think your boy will react badly the next time as he has a minor reaction now. Do your dogs go into boarding kennels or do they stay in places with you like holiday houses? Do they need to be vaccinated for where they go or is it just your preference? If they need to be vacc. then I would split the vaccine's up. If it is your preference then titre test for your peace of mind. -

sorry to be blunt but it's not as expensive as your dogs dying on you from a reaction. This is what you have to weigh up. -

I would not be vaccinating any of them again. Are the 3 related? What vaccination did you give the one that reacted the first time, as I guess she would have been due as well? You could do things differently next time I suppose, if you insist on still vaccinating them. You could just do a C3 and then a couple of weeks later give them the nasal spray for kennel cough. You can just give a killed parvo vaccination and then the KC nasal spray. Spread out the load is what I am saying. You should also stay at the vets or very nearby for an hr or two so if they do react the vet is right there to help out. I believe a second reaction would be much, much worse and could kill your dogs. Much like a bee sting in people, each reaction gets many times worse. -
Give her more calcium, 3 times a day. Get some fenugreek powder or capsules for her as well. Maybe a sheet over the box to make it more cavelike which is hard with this hot weather. Rescue remedy for you. Breathe

Dog Owner Is Refusing To Have Her Pet Put Down – Even After It Savaged
Rebanne replied to Steph M's topic in In The News
Hopefully the only people killed are the owners and not some innocent passerby -
dont farmers do that to sheep, or is that only in the movies. If they really do, I wonder if farm supply stores might sell them. sheep and cows. You can buy needles online.

I'd do a needle through the side. If the stomach has twisted a tube wouldn't get down.
