They are really nice TLC! I think my faves are the second one, and number five. With number five it really brings out the drama of those two trees :)

Lovely set of photos! Yeah I really like it too TLC

Thank goodness those gentlemen stepped into help, probably saved his life. And good on them for doing so because it would have been very scary I imagine. I agree with mixedupup, That they would most likely been the sort of "guard dogs" that are confined to a yard and never socialised.

Aww I just love him! He looks especially fab in his red coat too! :)

You will never know for sure, but maybe she thought it was a good way to get her dog used to being around other dogs. It isn't ofcourse, but reactivity is quite hard to fix, and people don't often know how to fix it.

Maybe assedrtively asking to shorten her leash would have been more productive. But it can be hard to think clearly in stressful situations.

Well its been a couple of weeks since I purchased Lightroom and I really feel as though I'm getting into the swing of it now. Especially since I have just come back from holidays so I have tonnes of new photos to play with :D I think what I am loving most is the ability to regain detail in highlights and shadows, afterall you can't expose for everything in a photo. The other thing that amazed me was I was playing around with the 'detail' in a portrait I took of an older family member. By increasing the detail and then increasing luminescence I made it look like he's been airbrushed was quite something really, but not a look I really go for :) this is one of my faves:

I just loved those cameras so much <3 And this was my favourite episode so far I think. I wonder what they'll do next week?

I agree but I'm still glad she was happy with the photos, it would have been quite sad if she wasn't.

probably because a pro wedding photographer would have cried! Admittedly the bride seemed to like the photos though, so that's something.

Can he be seen in your backyard from the road/footpath? Apart from keeping him inside I would be ensuring that he can't be seen from the road or footpath and that you don't have any tell-tale signs that indicate you have a dog in the backyard.

That was just so cute and adorable!

I was able to use lightroom to further darken the background and enhance the colour of the petals. Although if I get this printed I will definitely be adjusting the exposure on it.

oh she is precious <3 thanks for the photos :)

She said she accidentally left everything except the camera and that lens in the car. She even left the lens cap in the car!

Sounds like you're doing a great job :) You sound very committed :) Don't forget to use this precious time you have off to work to socialise that pup of yours :) She will need that as much as knowing how to be alone :) She doesn't have to interact with a lot of people or dogs, but she really needs to see and hear other people and dogs and learn to be ok in their presence; ultimately you want her to ignore these things. That way you can have pleasant outings and walks with her :) She also needs to be introduced to car travel, being walked, having her nails trimmed and having a bath. It is also very important to get her used to the noise and sight of children so she is not afraid of them; especially if you are planning on having kids one day.

This is one I took and had a play with this morning. I made it all a bit more greenish (as today was very dull and much more grey), and a few other things that I can hardly remember :D Apart from the chicken wire (which isn't great!), I think I also should have had the camera more wide open. I'm happy for feedback if anyone feels so inclined :)

Today I managed to get oput and take some photos to put through Lightroom :D Had lots of fun doing it! I have a lot more to figure out with it ofcourse, but its still going well. I will try to put some photos up some time when I have figured out to do that :)
-
Yeah I think she did great She had a such a great attitude as well :) We also had a lugh when he began piling up the rocks  I think he psyched himself out a little; which was his main problem. I also liked the macro, but it wasn't very landscapey. I think they chose the best image.

Thank you Shell That worked perfectly! Looking forward to getting started now :D

Well I am (was) pretty excited because this morning I purchased Lightroom :) I was advised to purchase the student/teacher one ebcause I am a student. So I spent a long time going through the rigmarole of registering with them and proving that I am a student - it was painful - took me forever! Then the internet died as I pressed the submit button and I had to do it all again! Anyway I managed to get it done. And then I installed it on my computer. Now though there is a big box saying "New software for Lightroom is available". But it won't let me press any of the buttons, or close it. Whenever I try it makes that "bing" noise that says you are doing something wrong. I can't press anything in Lightroom either, it makes that same noise when I try. I am actually attempting to type this while that box is blocking everything on the screen  so if there are lots of typos, you know why! Well I was just hoping that someone here might have a clue what's going on?

Wow I think that is brilliant!

I think it would be really tricky using a studio and a new camera for the first time as well as being on TV and in the company of Vince! I was a bit shocked when the guy seemed like he didn't understand about F stops but I thought maybe he was just confused about how to adjust the settings on that particular camera?

Yes but the argument is that because you have chosen to buy your dog, a shelter dog will die because you didn't offer it a home instead. I think the better argument would be that buying a pedigree dog is one way of responsibly owning a dog because you are able to select a dog who will suit your lifestyle (i.e. because its traits are predictable). I think it's a good article

thankyou! well I'm thinking I'll go for 40 cm, if your girl is petit Perrin. And She's probably going to be smaller than Juice's male Dally so, I think that will work! You know what's interesting? I tried to use google to find the answer to this first and the collars they were recommeding for Dals varied between 30 cm and 75 cm! So I really am glad I asked here :)
