Hi there, I second everything that's already been said, and also suggest offering extra for the bond if you can. It gives the landlord some piece of mind that there is plenty of money there should your dog create any property damage, (which I'm sure he or she won't, in which case you'll get all you money back at the end of the lease )

unfortunately yes they should be banned. I just don't think it's realistic or fair to have laws based on the very improbable. The fact is someone can be noticed anywhere. It's horrible and unfortunate but going out in public is a risk in itself and banning thing that don't effect 99.9% of people makes no sense. Agreed!

Interesting... why are there so many photos in magazines and newspapers of crowded areas then? Is it different because they are generally reporting on something to do with the image rather than just displaying it for art's sake? I don't understand. :D Amazing, isnt it. I could take a photo of someone in the middle east lying in the street with their leg blown off and sell it to a newspaper without the victim's permission, but I cant publish a photo on the net of stranger happily walking her dog down a Sydney street. The world has gone insane Agreed, it's tragic. Some of my favourite photography would be classified as 'Street Photography'. There are some stunning historical images of this genre. The one of the Australian woman kissing a US Soldier during their posting in Melbourne during the war springs to mind, (can't remember who it was taken by). To ban this kind of capture would take such a toll on historic culture I think. Photography doesn't just capture an event, or person, it captures the moods and characteristics of a time period. To take the opportunity for future generations to look back on the way we are now would be a real loss in my opinion.

Hi there I put my boy onto this about three weeks ago after getting sick of struggling with Eagle Pack supply. He absolutely loves the stuff and he has been a bit fussy in the past. Same amount of poos, his coat has continued to look awesome, (though it was already like that with EP and Flaxseed Oil). I can't talk up the service of the suppliers enough! They were so helpful and made getting a hold of the food a breeze. Brilliant.

Thanks for the info guys I think I might look into Black Hawk, a friend's dog is doing quite well on it. I've heard mixed reports about Artemis but will keep it in mind.

Hey all, There seems to be a supply issue with Eagle Pack at the moment, so I am considering changing brands as this is not the first time I've struggled. What dry food would people recommend other than Eagle Pack? I have a 16 month old Ridgeback who has been getting the adult formula for large and giant breeds. I'm really disappointed to have to change brands as he is in really good condition coat/skin/weight wise but what can you do I guess? Thanks all, appreciate your input. -Nat

What!? Who ELSE do you blame? The dog? The law is that OWNERS must have their dogs under effective control in a public area, not dogs must keep themselves under control and accidents happen.. So by your reasoning then ALL dogs better be on leash then because they all have the potential to be aggressive - not just the ones where the owner actually warns you that might. Of course any dog has the potential to attack another - if it is not under control of the owner. Agree 100% Yep.. Doh! I would probably take him to the vet so they could make him throw it up... but I'm a little paranoid, he'll probably be fine. They use 'lectric crystals' from memory, (Zander swallowed a sock once!).

So Lo Pan would I be correct in assuming you would prefer police not to use dogs in their line of work? Just curious.

;) Zander's just the same as Teddy! Will only come to me for cuddles and is a total mama's boy, (which I love!). OH used to try to even the score but now he's just accepted that I'm Zander's favourite. When we get our own place we plan on getting a playmate for Zander, maybe he/she will treat OH as their favourite

I totally understand 'onsntillnflash'!! I can't quite believe how excited I got yesterday! I told a couple of the girls I work with and they looked at me like I was a lunatic, hehehe. They're definitely not dog people. Zander has a small kink in his tail, and the crowns on his ridge are crooked so I was lucky enough to be able to take him home. I still think he's by far the best looking Ridgy around though
