Back in the land of the living again I'm not sure that I can say anything more than what has already been said Wow what a weekend. I wish I could have spent a week with the SAR team! What an amazing and wonderful group of people. The dogs were awesome. River and Gus are just wonderfully behaved, smart, and absolutely adore their owners. They were dream dogs to meet and anyone who meets them must leave wanting a Lab! If I had the money I would come down to the Vic workshop as well. It was so interesting and also fun! Now I am just working on convincing OH that living in Vic would be a great idea

Just wondering who is coming along to the SAR seminar? I have been looking forward to this for months and can't wait to meet Julie and some of her dogs! Toying with the idea of staying up at Kurrajong on the Saturday night as the drive is sooooooo long for us. Anyone else interested in bunking down if I can find some accomodation for us. We could grab a pub meal for dinner.....

Which one would be good for a malamute? I could really use one as I am having a hard time using a slicker and comb Actually while I am here - what is a good large slicker for a malamute. The one I am using is just not doing the job and is way too small. The ones in the petstore seem flimsy Plushpuppy has a brush on their site and I wondered how that would go..

I looked into this also when I toyed with the idea of going into grooming. People love the idea of a mobile groomer because of the lifestyle we lead but the problem is that you are severly limited when you buy a franchise to a certain area. Much cheaper to go out on your own and set up your own mobile business Rox - a friend of mine down here is run off her feet and cannot keep up with the work in our area, there is a huge demand where I live. Maybe you better move in with palane

It's always an awesome day out there and again I just learnt so much and reinforced a few things I have been a bit slack on Tattydog - Paddy was an awesome boy and I think there might be one thing you might not have noticed. He adores you! Because you were focusing on the dog you were handling you probably did not notice Paddy looking over to you all the time and towards the end of the day he was a little whimpery and I think he wanted to be back with his mum. I noticed how excited he was when I handed him back to you. He is just divine!!!!!!!!!! You've obviously done a great job with him and he completely adores his foster mum Gillbear - WTF! I missed the streakers - that so sux! Would have woken me up a bit Alibear - I am the QUEEN ;)
