Just wanting to see if anyone else has a bitch with incontinence issues and what treatments you are using and how effective they are. Tina has been on Propalin for about 6 months and it was working for a while but now doesnt seem to be effective. It was just happening during the night when she was asleep but I noticed this afternoon that she is "dribbling" urine quite a bit. Obviously we are going back to the vet to discuss the problem but just wondering if the Propalin is not working, is there something more effective?. Has anyone had success with herbal therapies? I'm going to get some nappies and try those to see if we can keep her clean and dry. Has anyone had any success in finding bedding that can be easily washed and kept clean and dry. The problem with the bedding is that I will need to replace the lot and always have a spare on hand as they tend to play musical beds My guys are literally in the house whenever we are home and kicking her outside is not an option. So looking for ways to make her comfortable and to keep the smell at bay!

I've got myself a little confused about my depth of field in my photos. I took this photo and it hasn't really got the depth of field I was looking for. I really only wanted Charm to be on focus Contrast that to the photo of Kallie which is getting much better and has what I was looking for. I used the same lens for both photos.... Charm was 55 focal length and Kallie was 214. Kallie's aperture 5.6 and Charm 5.0 Does that mean to have gotten a bit more DOF with Charm I should have moved back a bit more???

Thanks guys!!! I'll have a play with that one Ash and also do the search like you suggested. It seems to be the one thing that is missing from Lightroom...... It looks like you can add them in the print module but I just want to send my photos to a friend for some memories of her horse that she just sold Whilst I am here can I add another question? I have a photo but I want to remove the lead rope and halter from it. I had a bit of a play with the clone stamp in PS but it just looked really photoshopped and fuzzy. Is there a knack to that as well? I really am loving Lightroom though! Oh here is the photo I was talking about for the halter and lead rope

Is there a good tute out there on how to add borders to photos in either Lightroom or Photoshop? I did try googling but did not really come up with much other than software that I would need to purchase. Happy to buy them if I have to but for the amount of photos I take I am not sure it would be really worth it???? There was one program called Photo Frame 4 that looked pretty whizz bang!!!

Lightroom - Book, Tutes Or Course
Winterpaws replied to Winterpaws's topic in Photos, Photos, Photos
I got the educational version - it was a lot cheaper! -
I've finally installed Lightroom and so far really liking it But I suspect I have a lot to learn and just wondering how people have picked it up - books, tutes or a course. I was thinkin of maybe this course through the Bryan Peterson place... http://www.ppsop.com/aplr.aspx

Oh I am now having issues trying to get a flickr photo to post into a thread. I can do it on photobucket but it won't seem to upload a Flickr photo - anyone got any ideas?

www.google.com seek and you shall find

If I go into my flickr a/c - then on the top right I see something to take me to "My Photostram" which shows all your photos and sets Then once there in the top right hand side in light grey writing it says "share this" and when I click on that box I can either email the photos or grab a web link. It looks like I can set the security on each photo as well if there are shots I do not want people to see I'm a numpty on these sites but hopefully that helps?

Photoshop And Other Post Photography Enhancements

I'd love to learn a bit more about how people do the backgrounds. These are a couple of photos that I love and obviously photoshopped! Just wondering if anyone can give me pointers on what processing they have used so I could look up some tutes http://www.equinephotographers.org/members...037&id=1556 http://www.equinephotographers.org/members...432&id=1992 http://www.equinephotographers.org/members...863&id=2066 http://www.equinephotographers.org/members...555&id=2134 My absolute faves are the first and last of the links I posted but here are more Photoshop seems so overwhelming to learn -
Pepe says thank you - he thinks he is cute as well. In fact he thinks humans are here to pat him and tell him how cute he is When ever we walk and he sees people he will not continue to walk unless they pat him I think I have some neotopic here so I will try that first. If it gets worse we will go to the vet but poor little booger is itchy and red eta - sorry I didn't answer your question. I think he is a cross of some sort? He was a xmas dump last year and we fostered him but he just wormed his way into our hearts, and beds, and lounge - you get the picture

Pepe seems to get a skin irritation on his legs and paws in summer. I *think* it is most likley an allergy reaction to the grass Is there a topical ointment that can be applied that would be soothing?

Wow I never realised Kramar was an aussie company? There is a recall notice on the right hand side of the page on this link http://www.kramar.com.au/aboutus.html -

According to an ABC new report the brand is Kra-Mar - this information is in the public domain now so no fear of law suits one would think...... Link to report - http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2008/12/09/2441919.htm -
Ooooh that will be good to see the different lenses at work *waits patiently*

What gets me is that if they know there is a possibiilty it is causing pet deaths, yet do not tell us then should their asses not be sued? We rarely feed treats but I do sometimes and would like to know what to avoid! -
It says in this article that the pet food company has issued a legal threat if the AVA publishes the name of the company http://www.news.com.au/story/0,27574,24772364-421,00.html Does anyone know and can you tell me - via PM I guess

Very nice!!! I want one LOL

I've not really seen anything yet that seems to look like the real thing. I really like the shots here http://www.lifepixel.com/digital-infrared/samples.html but they achieved those by converting cameras and pulling things out of them. I think OH would not be impressed if I started pulling my camera apart
-
I really want to try Lightroom! It's getting some good feedback isn't it
-
Wow - inspiring!!!! I have question.. can you use Photoshop to convert an image to look like it has been shot with infared film?
