  1. Just to confirm that as of today I have checked all the links and removed any dead links. Have also updated and added a few new things which are marked in post 7 as new links
  2. The current lincraft mag has a polar fleexe dog coat and dog mat. I have the pdf which I will attach but you can also look at www.lincraft.com.au MayMag09_04.pdf
  3. She has some gorgeous stuff on her site!!! I wonder how you would put a hoof print from a horse
  4. Have you looked at the Aussie Dog range? I know they are exxy but my neighbours bought their staffy the staffy ball and it is still going strong years later
  5. I read quite a bit about it in horses when Kallie RBC count kept creeping south. The vet said this was not her issue though. There was a really good article in the April (?) issue of Eques - I can try scan it for you??? I know horses are not the same as cats but still might give you some background
  6. I use Permoxin spray and it works for my guys. Touch wood I have never had an issue with either fleas or ticks. I spray weekly and that's about all I use here but your area might have more fleas than what we have?
  7. Just a thought BD - but he is an assistance dog? Sorry if this sounds rude or insensitive (and I sooooo do not mean it to) but could he be picking up some stress from you? It's probably a silly suggestion but thought it was worth throwing into the equation
  8. Thanks Vampy. Looking online at all the different options I am thinking of just buying them each a single bed foam mattress from Clark Rubber and then using some of that material, or buying a single bed mattress protector. Then I could just throw a fitted sheet over the top? VJB - I spent ages looking through barka parka but then realised that they say you shouldn't use the dry top all the time Which is something we do...
  9. I did look at these but my cats will pee on anything with the beans in it  OH bought a bean bag once and it lasted two days before the cats thought it sounded like a litter tray and started using it as a toilet I don't mind spending the $$ on decent beds, just want to try and make sure I can make the next lot last. None of the drug options are sounding very good so I am thinking of trying the McDowell Incontinence Mix and seeing if that works?
  10. What I need is someone in Australia to start selling these - http://www.seniorpetproducts.com/product/w...&parent=248 I would buy 6 - 10 of them and quite happily rotate them and the covers - it's the inner foam in the beds that costs a bomb
  11. She goes up and down Dwynen. For the last few weeks it seemed t be getting better but then in the last few days it has gotten worse during the night and today she has literally soaked her bed Fortunately she is not a furniture girl and these days if she does want to get up on the lounge with me I have to tell her no But none of the dogs generally sleep on the lounge so I don't feel too awful I need to go and buy new beds again as the last ones I bought are smelly and stinky. I did buy some mattress protectors from Ikea but they were useless - is there somewhere else I can get a good one (without breaking the bank....). I'm trying to keep them sleeping on fairly thick beds as they both really feel the cold, but at over $130 a bed it is starting to get exxy.. I saw on great rugs they had some incontinence beds which look good but they also look too thin and don't seem to have a way of securing them to the top of another bed? Ummm the dry bed cushion bed on this site - http://www.greatrugs.com.au/store/index.htm
  12. Well I am at my wits end with this and completely tearing my hair out Incontinence seems to be getting worse desite bumping up the Propalin dosage and it's costing a fortune in beds as you need to replace them all the time Just had a quick chat to my lovely vet and he has thrown a couple of options at me and wanted to see if anyone has had any success Female hormone injections - but a possible side effect of aggression? Yuck! Deslorin (sp?) - the male desexing drug which can apparently be effective for female incontinence Injecting something into the urethra? None of them sound particularly nice but I just have no idea what to do - even restricting her access to water at night we are left with a puddle and right now I have just looked at her bed and she has soaked it through. Help!!!!
  13. Thanks MTD - I think it will only last us about a month as we have 3 over 40kgs and then one 5kg dog
  14. Thanks!!!! Looks like Joint Guard might be the go and it has really high levels compared to human equivalents! I saw it on aussievetproducts.com.au for $59.95. Is that a good price?
  15. Just wondering if anyone has these sitting at home whether you can tell me the active ingredients (and amounts) so that I can compare the two tried googling and not having much luck with finding specific information
  16. Is there a trick to achieving a black background in photos without having to use photoshop? I did google but the one site I found with an explanation had all these very complicated math equations and I got scared Umm like this is what I am looking for - http://www.equinephotographers.org/members...462&id=1516 but I am not sure if that one was photoshopped. I've been told you can achieve this fairly easily if you know how?
  17. I have this camera and love it!
  18. Or grab it on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com.au/PATONS-KNITTING-BK-...526145001r10021
  19. Funny you should say that... it's my ridgeback who starts the mania!
  20. We normally feed at the same time every day -when we get home from work But I've noticed that the dogs get manic if we are running late and have not fed them and it's absolute chaos in our house I'm toying with the idea of switching things up a bit and just feeding them at different times every day. Do you think there would be any negative side effects if I did this?
  21. I've never heard of a boerbaul Is it anything like a boerboel?
  22. Greymate I would be interested in knowing more about what mats you have that can be thrown in the machine? luvsdogs - don;t stress too much honestly. My girl is 10 this year and it has only been happening for about the last 12 months. She was 7 when we rescued her from the pound
  23. I can sew but would have no clue where to start to make something like that
  24. One of the neighbours just gave me a nappy to try but it is not going to work - too small for a ridgeback! Can you buy undies for large dogs?
