Got money back on Euk kibble, bought Royal Canin was going to go nutro but they had no big bags left .. Got home put down 2 cups of RC and pup gobbled it up in minutes.. He has NEVER done that with the Euk .. so far so good.. even the kibble looks and smells moist the Euk had no smell and was brittle to the touch almost

Thanks for the replies I am thinking I try Royal Canin, Artemis or Nutro.. they all are about the same price so hopefully of I can get a sample from one of the pet stores here I can see how my pup likes them

I too bought a Sammy recently.. Best decision ever, I love the little guy he is such a good dog and I must say the breed is fantastic...

not soaking it in water, wasn't aware I should be doing that? Euk is just what the breeder recommended and I am thinking my pup just doesn't like it

Hi all, First time post here. I have a 5 1/2 month old Samoyed pup who is the best However I have noticed over time from pretty much day 1 that he does not like the Eukanuba kibble we feed him. When I say he doesn't like it he never eats it when I put it down for him he nibbles at it all day and hardly eats much at all.. Definitely no where near the recommended intake for each day for his weight. He is my first dog so I havent got much experience but all my friends and wife have had dogs and they say their dogs gobble the kibble down. Anything else I feed him disappears immediately, ie raw chicken, lamb, leftovers etc etc.... Just this damm Eukanuba hardly gets touched.... I am thinking its the brand of dog food and I am going to change it next time but has anyone else experienced similar things? Any brand I should move too?
