So sorry He was a special boy and you'll never forget him.

Tash used to HATE being bathed. Then one day, she suddenly jumped in the bath happily and tolerates it. She looooves the hoses she gets now since we dont have a bath anymore! If the weather wasn't feral she'd get one today....

oooh yes you did! sorry i forgot :p I'll do some research... but i think she'll be off to visit this specialist anyway just to get some idea of whats really going on in her ears as our vets really dont know, and they explained a few things to us last night...

Holly, I was actually thinking about swapping her over to BARF... and our other girl as well. Should i just do a search on this site for info? Or do you feel like giving me the low down of it?:p I have no idea how to go about introducing it into her diet as she soley has dry food.

My girl is already on supercoat.... I'll go and have a look at the site :p It's most likely a wheat allergy because of the yeast build up in her ears.... **Edit** i just checked their website and i cannot find a comprehensive list of ingredients.

Last night i went to a talk by a dermatologist who specialises in allergies and ear problems. I spoke to him about my girls ear problems. It doesn't matter how often they are cleaned they still have major buildup. After discussing it with him it's most likely a food allergy which can happen even after the dog has been eating the same food for years like in her case. So i need to find a rice based dry food to try her on... anyone got any names for me to try?

My Little Experiment With Dog Food

Supercoat keeps the weight on, keeps my puppy sane and is the only brand she'll eat for weeks on end without getting bored of it! -

I only just found this forum, and thought it was just the place to put a tribute to my gorgeous girl. Cossa was brought into our lives, by family friends, when she was rescued on the side of the road at about three months of age. She arrived around the time i was born, and always loved us kids. The big black girl was there to protect and mother, and to love. She was my lifelong companion. She was my dads best mate, and they'd walk everywhere together. Coss would grab the soccer ball and play soccer with us, nosing the ball around, and she'd always be there to cry on, with a gentle nudge and a lick. One day i'd had two teeth removed and she was over at my grandpas. I walked in the door and bent down to give her a cuddle, she couldnt get up the stairs with her arthritis. She was really worried as my face was swollen and wouldnt stop nudging and licking at my cheek, trying to figure out what was wrong. The darling. I still remember your last hours, and i wish i didnt have these memories of you girl, seeing you lying on the floor having a seizure, and no longer having use of your back legs. You couldn't walk, you couldn't hold you your head up. I'm glad i was there to hold you and say goodbye to you though. I just wish it didn't end the way it did. Tash was worried, and didn't understand why you couldn't come and play, we still miss you every day, and go and visit your gum tree whenever we are at Dads. I love you my big black princess. You are the angel of my heart, and in my memories always. Life long companion of Tegan and Tony for 16 years 1987 to April 21 2003 :D This photo is from January 2003.
