  1. ,I was wondering what the vet said ? That is in response to Stormies question about the pups age as in, they brought him home earlier than planned, I don't believe from the posting times that the poster has been able to leave work to take the pup to the vet yet. It's awful when the pups are sick, I hope you can get yours to the vet ASAP as they can go downhill quickly.
  2. Really? Gawd, I could never use them for my Kelpie.. he'd catch one on the run and knock out all his teeth!!!

    Tess

Oh Pheebs So sorry you have lost your beloved Tess. I remember how much you loved your girl and how it tore you apart when you had to leave her behind when you moved.
  4. Petstock here has these balls that are the same size as tennis balls but they are harder. My dog who kills all his tennis balls within a day from chomping on them still can't kill these ones. I think they're kramar?

    Bambi

    Thinking of you Ems xxxx
  6. and the local council. How disgusting. They shouldn't even have unhealthy pets on sale Poor little things.
  7. We had the same thing here... at 15 months, Bundy is turning into a beautiful dog.. his obedience still needs more indepth work because I got slack, but he is at a stage I am happy with now. You just have to be patient and keep the rules and boundaries in place.
  8. You washed off the chicken?? They're dogs! They eat bones caked in dirt, i don't think it would have bothered her! Mine just get told too bad you made the mess if you want it you eat it!! My boys don't have any weird habits really.. although if i feed a particular brand of kibble, Bundy will stand and glare at the bowl while drooling for a few mins before eating, even if he's already been released to eat.. It's only that brand.
  9. She's working today but maybe she'll see this later?
  10. PF, second line says the current dog is a boxer :D A fox terrier would be a perfect fit if the fences were fixed up a bit I think ;)
  11. Big hugs.. it's really a personal decision. Circumstances vary, love and devotion to the animals vary... it just depends. If OH and I ever split, then we'd split the dogs. Diesel is his brothers in name, but he is 'our' dog as he lives with us and always will as he can't live with OH's brother... Bundy was bought for OH really... but he is mine in heart and soul and I couldn't leave him behind, and OH knows this and would never ask me to. If I couldn't take him then he would stay, but it would shatter my heart into a thousand pieces and I'd probably come and get him when I could. OH cares about them as much as I do, they are everything to us.
  12. We are in Clarinda/Clayton spitzbaby! Whereabouts are you? We've ended up using jetpets, and it's all booked in and confirmed, we are expecting our boy next Friday!!!! woohooo I've attached pictures too! I hope this works.. still new to this forum haha I was really worried about his tear stains, but our breeder said it's because he is teething at the moment... should we be worried? Cute puppy. You should PM Cosmolo from Underdog who's a poster here about puppy pre-school. Whilst we didn't do theirs, we've used them for obedience training at Clayton South and Underdog rock Good luck with your little one.
  13. Cos, I'll try to get to Ormond tomorrow if I'm up to it.. i have the perfect gift sitting here Then I can spend my voucher mwahaha
  14. It's 'bad' for their teeth in that eating soft food doesn't help clean the plaque off their teeth, and it contains a lot of preservatives so just isn't good for them in general. I don't feed canned food, my dogs either get raw or good quality biscuits depending on our budget.
  15. You've split up with your partner haven't you? If your partner is no longer living there he's probably just feeling a bit confused. They can also sense when we are a bit miserable and it can effect them too.
  16. If the kids are eating ANYTHING then the dog shouldn't be near them... particularly if he's trying to steal food off tables/furniture. You need to teach your kids to not leave food in his reach either (hard with young ones i know)... It sounds like he has no respect and thinks he can take what he wants when he wants. I wouldn't be having the kids do TOT, what if something went wrong and he bit them??
  17. OH said come spring the dogs would be sleeping outside... both dogs are still inside. The V sleeps in his crate, the kelpie on his mat.. although the Kelpie is going to be relegated outdoors if he doesn't stop jumping on the bed in the middle of the night They are allowed on the bed for cuddles at night, but they know when they have to get off.. OH was very much 'the v will be an outside dog and the kelpie too unless it's raining' but now he'd never do that to his 'precious' boy
  18. My dogs are going stir crazy They're normally really good but oh boy after 2 weeks of constant rain they've had enough...
  19. Do that. Our neighbours did to us not long after we moved in and had they not told us we wouldn't have known. We soon sorted the problem out though. Pity they didn't do the same when their dog would howl till all hours of the night when they weren't home.
  20. Did I take any pics of Bundy? I have lots of photo's of dogs I don't know. Will send off a disk to Cosmolo so she can email photo's to people. I don't know, I don't think you did. There's one on the facebook page but he looks awful Such a scrawny boy. Fattima, looooove your pointees We were talking about how Roky could just walk through the tyre jump and Bundy didn't want anything to do with it Such lovely dogs.
  21. Yep another vote for a brilliant product and service!!! She will also tailor make mixes!!! leave supplements out if that's what the owner wants for different dogs! She better not shift anywhere!!! Another vote for F4P here.. Love it. My boys will sit at the microwave and cry if it takes too long to defrost
  22. Ours eat the lot, but we monitor them for splintering.
