Not So Much A Puppy Issue But A Older Dog Dealing With Puppy
Bundyburger replied to Sparty's topic in Puppy Chat
Eventually it will be able to be both, you've only had the pup a few weeks so it's an adjustment for everyone. It took about 3-4 weeks for the jealousy to ease a little.. Heck, even now, one will start licking my face, and then I'll end up with the other one at the same time! Time is all it takes. You need to let Bodie know it's ok, and he can still come to you even with Zee around, even if that's bribing with treats. -
Not So Much A Puppy Issue But A Older Dog Dealing With Puppy
Bundyburger replied to Sparty's topic in Puppy Chat
Our kelpie sounds very much like Bodie.. He was a people dog, not a dog dog... The only other dogs he liked, was OH's parents dogs, and the dog he lived with (who died before we got Bund) . They didn't fight, there was no antagonising on either side (except the pup occasionally and the kelpie told him off) so we left them to it, sometimes they'd play but it was up to them.. 17 months later, they sleep on the same bed, play with each other and are really good friends. I wouldn't say they're best mates, but that's ok, they're both happy and so are we! They both get their one on one time, so it works well. I don't know how long Bodie's been on his own, but you do just have to let him adjust. If the pup is taking it too far, he'll tell him, and they'll find a happy medium. I was so worried our two would never get along, but the more Bundy grew up, the better they got on. -
Waiting For A Puppy This Thread Is For You

Pro-plan is about $120ish versus blackhawk $85.. My boys are on PP, and they've trialled BH.. and I actually think BH is better.. so IMHO, i'd just pick one and use that for while.. if she looks great on whichever one you choose, there's no reason to change unless it's a price issue... For us PP is too expensive on a regular basis, but BH is more affordable as it comes in bigger bags, and is cheaper. Rebus is sooo cute -
Agree with this post.. Welcome Crash Where abouts in Vic are you? Perhaps someone can recommend a good vet for you if you haven't already got one? Just in case I have a list of 3 for ours!!

Other Ways To Transport Puppy Home By Car Other Then A Crate?
Bundyburger replied to Nadine83's topic in Puppy Chat
I'd put her in the harness too and have someone sit in the back. Even when you have your wagon, she's still going to have to learn to be harnessed, so you might as well start now. We didn't harness train our boy from the start... and boy did that cause problems down the track, and it took ages for him to settle.. but now he loves it. -
So council do the chip as well? No they don't, it's seperate. The microchip is under a central register, and not connected to the council.. My council doesn't even have my dogs chip details because they haven't asked for it. Address change with your vet too... and don't forget the obvious, if you're going to a new council they'll need new regos entirely!

If Anyone Want A Cheap Soft Crate...
Bundyburger replied to Red Fox's topic in General Dog Discussion
There's these ones too... I'm getting one just for our holiday trips... http://www.crazysales.com.au/pet-cat-dog-c...-m-ndp1007.html -
That's what I'm doing too... Mr 19mths is a sniffing machine! We have it sorted on walks now.. but it fell apart in agility training yesterday I didn't have the energy to rev him up properly and get him in full focus, so he was in lala land... When I'm bouncing around like a loony and really excited, he is wonderful.. but the second i go down to 'normal' bye bye focus! So for me, it's a case of making myself more interesting than the other things around. I'd like to think by the time he's 22 months he'd have better focus than he does now!

I would do this today just to see whether or not this is credible option for you or not. I think it's best to know exactly what your options are rather than going over possibilities. Good luck either way - no shame in rehoming a dog if you can longer provide them with what they need (provided you are honest to any potential homes) Yep... i agree. I also don't think you are 'horrid'. You can't help your chance in circumstances, you didn't know you'd end up injured! Good luck finding her a suitable home.

He hasn't. He just changed his name!
-
He was in the other one Andisa. D22, don't worry too much about us, we just get a bit passionate when people are clearly giving ridiculous advise or posing as 2 different people.
-
Stop it stormie.
-
Maybe he's in Melbourne but his 'friend' is in Sydney?
-
The silence is deafening.

My red one has gone a nice deep russet from an orange His itchyness has nearly all stopped, the rest i think is seasonal.. Love this food.
-
That's wonderful doglover007 but that doesn't explain WHY you were signing your posts off as Tony, then changed your name and said you were a friend of his... So who are you REALLY?
-
Either by some strange coincidence you are both named Tony (what are the odds?) or you are VERY close! Any other personas we should know about? Gees, this just gets better and better, one minute you sign off as Tony, the next you are his friend... Edited for clarity and then the name changes...

Pretty normal really.. dogs eat their own poop, duck poop, possum poop.. everything.. so i can't see it hurting her.

The Strangest Cross Breed You Have Ever Seen?
Bundyburger replied to jackie_a1's topic in General Dog Discussion
A supposed sheltie x BC! Looks more like a foxie with stumps Although he's grown now and isn't so 'stumpy' I'm curious as to what he'll look like full grown!
