I just take photos of my boys/doggies and stuff If you check out the 50mm thread you can see what this lense is capable of which is why I bought it I loved my 55- 200 until I got the 85 ... beware you start to get lense envy Glad you are having fun :D

As a newbie I have these two lenses.... My favorite lenses are the 50 mm & I recently bought the 85mm from states as it wasn't available here and was 1/2 price too via B&H Gotta love that I swop between the two :D I would like a macro ...just not sure whether to go for the Tamron 90mm or Sony 100mm Would love to see what the more experience Sony owners have or recommend as well ;)

I will be doing "52 weeks of My Boys" - Otto & Pepper My theme/challenge to myself will be to post the best photo of each alternating between both mainly cause I would like to document the both Next year I will go pure !

Thanks whiskedaway & Shell for more explanation think I have my 'xmas brain' around it now just need to make a decision on which one to join or both I don't have a flickr account etc so like many will post in DOL... Shell...I'll get back to you today with single dog if I go in this

that was what I was sort of asking can I still join in without joining flickr ? same here I sort of thought it was 52 weeks " of " dogs.... having 5 here to makes it hard.....unfortunatley they don't all sit together well behaved like I might like ..it's usually full on playtime round here I can understand rules are rules and that it's only suppose to be one doggie.... I am abit confused ...is the DOL 52 weeks on flickr only ? Bit like kja/anniek/FM....not a flickr user either Will there be one here in the photo thread like last year ? I too would like to shoot more than one dog but do understand the rules ...... Will one be started in the photo thread ? Sorry for being a pain
