Is your dog older? :D I would have turned around and said that they obviously name their dog after yours  How stupid assuming that all dogs are named after theirs when he isn't even that old (1-2 years?)... I will admit that while I know the PMs partner bought her a DD I had no idea what his name is (of either the partner or the dog for that matter ) I only remembered the name because it was the same as our dog. I have no idea who is older- my Reuben was named by his breeder and has just turned one.
-
I thought the PM's dog was from a well known puppy farm??

Oh, and he is a red one.

I met her dog last week- the "First Bloke" was having a coffee meeting at my local cafe, and I was there with my dogs. One of mine went to meet his (my boy has a bit of a fetish for curly haired dogs) and I called him back after they had a mutual sniff, using his name (Reuben). The owner of the cav x poodle then exclaimed, oh, my dogs' name is Reuben too- everyone seems to be copying us! I then realised who it was and said "Oh no, my dog was named after the racing car driver Reubens Baricello."

Like this? https://www.facebook...&type=3 Kind of, but he only wants the two at the front, plus space behind like a normal ute.
-
Going off on a slight tangent here- my husband has just bought a ute and wants to put two insulated dog cages/crates on the back. Not the sort you see in the country, where the dog is exposed, but more like the spaces in a dog trailer. Can anyone point me in the right direction for getting these made?

That's the same reason why we stopped feeding it too. When we first started feeding BH a few years ago, it was home delivered and came in a plain package with a stick on label. It was great! i needed to feed half the amount that i used to with what we were feeding previously. Once it changed to a more commercial packaging the quality (in MY opinion) changed. We started to see colored pieces in the food, and the condition of my girl's coat changed- her once nice thick hair became straggly. I have since changed foods and her coat is starting to thicken again.

How Old Are Kelpies When Their Ears Prick?
Nik replied to RedKelpie's topic in General Dog Discussion
There's a litter at our farm at the moment who are roughly 6 weeks old. One pups ears are up and have been for a couple of weeks. The other two still have floppy ears. -
It hasn't been wet where we are, but we did manage to find some mud down by the river!

I go to Peter Frosts lessons at Bulla on Wednesday nights. It's helped me a lot! Edited as I accidentally pressed send too early.

It's ok, I've found out who they are and surprisingly they live across the road from me! (Up a few doors) There is no way I would use him. (Judging by the number of litters of puppies that walk out his door to new homes) I had no idea he was a legitimate company.

I have no idea. I just know they're based near me....

Hi all, Just doing some research on behalf of a friend, and I've come across a company I've not heard of before. I've tried looking for reviews on them but have come up with a blank. So I thought I'd ask on here- has anyone had heard of them/ had any experience dealing with them? Thanks

Oh, and he was sooo tiny. Apparently about 11 weeks old. Very pale Blenheim. But taking everything in his stride. Was happy for my kids to pat him gently.

I think I met this puppy today at my pet shop. Story sounds the same. Family came home from the breeder with two pups, dad put his foot down and said one only. The pup is now with an experienced CKCS owner, who will do the best by him. She had just picked him up and was buying supplied from my wonderful local shop.

Castlemaine & District Kennel Club 8/12/12
Nik replied to Mathilda's Mum's topic in General Dog Discussion
Yes, I'm a bit disappointed that the venue has changed. The main reason I chose to do that so was so my Grandma could come and watch us. She lives in Castlemaine and is not very well. She won't be able to come to Maryborough as its too far for her -
I drive past them all the time and I think they're no longer operating. Today there was a mountain of mail showed through the bars on the gate, and the place is looking rather unloved.

Is there another way to contact him other than via pm on here? His inbox is full.

Thanks. The dog is a border collie x and about 6 months. I'll pm Wayrod.

Hi all, A friend of mine wants to know if its possible to fly to NZ and take their dog with them. Her partner is from NZ, so they're going for a three month stay, and having the dog over there is no problem. She got a quote from somewhere and was told $3800 return! Is this correct or is there a cheaper way to do it? Thanks.

I'm on my way down! Should be lots of fun!
