  1. thank you all for your advice as for the kibble i changed it
  2. he dosn't like to be left alone always wants to be with me but he is afraid of new things any new noise anything different he runs to me even the smallest things if he wants something he sooks.
  3. yes it is expensive but my worry is bullmastiff are big dogs breeders say with cross breeds heath issues to temperment can make a risky dog these things are a concern
  4. hi all thank you to those who gave nice comments about NJ, i have chased up his breeder both mum and dad are purebreed staffordshire bull terriers with papers as to most of the posts and purebreed breeders told me i had a cross with bullmastiff i'm spending more money and having DNA testing but as i am a distance from the breeder and i want to be there it will take some time as for NJ's height my vet did it and he is just under the 18" mark just under ,so i was wrong but as for his weight he is still 23kg i guess he is just on of those fandangled models just have to wait and see
  5. thank you to all i think training is a good idear as i have two children a 6 and 8 y old and if nj is going to be big well its going to be needed
  6. PF im not shore what you mean about the teething thing the back ones are just through the gums
  7. yes i was pretty upset but i love him dearly and he is spoilt but he is a very timmed dog
  8. and nj is still teething the big back ones are coming through now all the front ones in the past month
  9. the chicken pet mince has bones bit through it the stake and lamb of cuts are of the bone i just cut it of the bone and mix it in his mince and kibble i was told supercoat was the best guess that was wrong im also feeding supercoat adult to my 9 year old lab charlie is that good
  10. 300g pet mince a day that be chicken or beef some times roo half breakfast half dinner mixed with supercoat puppy kibble 4 chicken necks 200g stake or lamb off cuts and my vet said to give him a lamb bone a day plus he can help him self to the kibble
  11. YEP I DID AND CHASING UP THE BREEDER A BULLMASTIFF IS A BIG DOG THE BREEDER SOLD THEM AS ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE BULL TERRIERS SO IM NOT TO HAPPY WHEN HE WAS LITTLE HE LOOKED LIKE A STAFFY. I GUESS I JUST GOT SUCKED IN BY A BREEDER

  13. IMO he doesn't look pure.. he is lovely though. He looks way too big to me. ETA most staffys aren't 23kg as full grown adults, they're usually around the 16kg mark. my first staffy tyson pure breed with papers full weight was 36kgs in prime at 4 years old his height was 18" photos above when he died he was 9 1/2 y old weight was 35kgs

THANK YOU, yes we love him dearly, i got him from western sydney. he was a litter of ten, he was the only one that colour, he was the biggest of the litter, but they were all huge and tan in colour. i seen his mother but am still waiting for photos of the father. nj is my second staffy my first, tyson was that tall fully grown. NJ is handsome with an attuide to go with it. he has many staffy traites his height is a bit of a worry !
  17. Hi, I have a 6 month old staffy named NJ, I am woundering if this is normal ? he weighs 23 kgs and he is 19" tall already we are to believe he is a pure breed english staffy hoping for some feed back thank you cheers nicole I have attached photos
