sc most things are within our reach to achieve them, or we would not start them. i feel you did know you could, but it is easy to doubt your self in moments of crisis. i know you can do it..... just one day at a time. :D
-
i'm very pleased for you...... but i have question....... do you still regret taking him and keeping after your moments of doubts...? i think i know the answer and i seem to have leaky eyes....

yeah when my child was sick i had to kick him outta the crate to let the dog in.... well it is the dog bed.... the temptation to lock mesurement ( the child) in was hard to over come.
-
child is now going to buy a bean bag for them both to snuggle into. how cute will that be?
-
they just love to cuddle and snuggle.... brings such joy and makes me smile!

say what you really think!...... i think that applies to most clubs or organisations..

how bout dally.... my 12 yo loves him to bits next week is wants me to smuggle him to sydney with us and make him sleep in the car! not possible. dog plays as ruff as the child does.... the wrestle and play till the mummy yells stop! there is a pic in the who needs a bean bag thread. that pose in our house is very common sight.

dog pro buscuits.... 4x2 leo loves them. last night he got normal dog pro biscuits.... he didn't want em and looked at me like i had gone mad! i was recommended them by a friend who said no preservatives. without these he never chews anything... even bones vanish quickly...

for a dogue that measurement hated .... and thought a huge pain.... he's now talking of missing leo this week as we will be away. all it took was one year!

seriously ellz.... theres gotta be a way..... i can see he's a pratt. i think most can.... something you all could do is totally refuse to do any promo at all..... or find a legal way to get him to say what you want him to say... others have contracts and can enforce them.... why can the dogie people of the world? you don't need him to like you or your breeds you just need to get him to say what you want... hands ellz a coffee.... dicussion is the only thing that will find a solution...... circumstances change laws change.... me personally i think slanging off is a waste. bickering (in a nice way) of how to tackle him....its about changing things via changing your view.... and finding ways out of the normal to solve it. -

the average tv joe can see he's need another sagner for his basket, but like i said surely you efforts would be better spent on out smarting him. as you lot say he's as thick as a short plank..... there is one don burke yes? 4,000 of us... surely one of us (maybe not me...) can come up with a better way. giving an add child matches while it may be fun is not pretty! so don't give him matches. positive :D pay back gets you more in the long run..... same as being sickly nice to people you know have made threats to kill you aint easy... you know it makes em squirm..... they have nothing for which to really hate you. -

sinking to his level helps how exactly... maybe there is a way to make him say what is the truth or no story. surely with some many different people here some very clever there must be a way to get what you want.... surely rather than wasting energy on calling him an arse hat.... which gains nothing.... wastes creative thinking.... and gives the arse hat ammo against you. real people will google and take the time to find out.... so corn people come up with how to tie his hands.... how to beat him at his own game.... serriously.... get creative. your mind does not understand no solution if think you there is a solution your mind will find one. i am sure you can come up with something.... with 4,000 views.... surely if you lot change the thought process something can be done.... if he has lied and misrepresented you breed then send him a legal letter or something.... hell get mad and get in front..... not down in the gutter. :D -

there is a school of thought out there that the faults you see in others are in fact ones you also posses. i try to ignore others fault , not always sucesfully but i try. how does this slang off at don burke (be he an arse hat or not) help pure bred dogs......? oh yeah that's right it gives him more ammo and reason to go against you lot.....more reason for him to just blindly disagree..... you lot should be taking advantage of every bit lo air time he offers you. look at it as a free add worth a squillion dollars. -
i hope your puppies are here and well. i hope things are well and you have not vanished into the void. things may not always work out for the best, but let anyone who has not been a victim of there own stupiddity be the first to criticise. as we know better we do better.

i think some lessons there for alot of folks round here. the normal reaction would be to come in hear saying what a dh the owner was how you should steal the dog/ report to rapca/ call rangers, all options causing hatred from the owners. at least this way dog is now in a home which is becoming educated and looking after him. means that one less dogue has gone thru the system. makes me wonder how jamison and the pups are going, but that poor poster will never return here and now has a hugely negative view of dol.

dso... a person lets say joe i16- 18yo he may not afford a $5k purchase price for a great dog. some workers can cost way more than that. farm dogs are fed tradditionally a roo diet shot by farmer or meat off cuts from there own kills for the table. the only cost would be vet care and wormings... but what better way to start someone young in a sport which gets them outside away from pubs.... and hanging out in the local park..... maybe the dogs should all just be pst save the fact they may just not end up living a great life... none of us can tell if they will end up being neglected or well cared for. i guess as the anck breeders of the world you all look on farms as the utlimate byb.

yeah it often is one scratch and your out. my friends cat is an attack cat (insert very nasty). she has a dog but burglars need to very scared of the cat. he's been known to attack her on the middle of the night loo run. :) the dally hates going to her house, he has to be rescued constantly. he seems to have attracted the cats hatred, the jrt's do not get the same welcome.
-
lets hope that some one who really wants a working keplie and cannot afford a great one wins one. lets say a farmer gives the dog to little joe and he goes on to win big at working dog trials... what could be nicer than that.... some one deserving winning something useful.... could be the best lotto win yet!
-
my cat won't be chased he attacks back.... claws are a very nasty weapon, if the cat will use them. my friend also has a very nasty cat that will stand and fight... not only that he will attack the dog till it is terrified. we have used our jrt to chase feral cats who have entered the house via the dogiie door. they know our cats from stray ones.... we did nothing really special.... to encourage it. i do believe however if pushed ours would kill a stray. up to date we have only allowed them to pin down to check that is was a feral and we disposed of the dead cat discreetly. some how ours have come to learn good cats from bad.

that's so true of how the great ones get treated. the OH was in tears here a while ago. the neighbours old dogs time had come... he could hardly walk, blind and a bit incontient as well he could not do the houorable thing so had to ask OH.... he almost could not do it either. to be put to rest in the paddock where you had spent your days working.... would be a great thing even for a hooman. another teary story.... our old border... best worker there was was going to the shearing shed for the day... had collar on tied on ute. not sure how but she managed to fall out... we went back to find her.... she was seeing stars.... had a nasty cut over her eye. so she was allowed to rest till smoko in the wool bins. well at smoko she shook her head got up and went out to the yards where no amount of coaxing would get her out... of. she finished the day working. the talent that one had every neighbour wanted her.... with the huge amount of pups taken you would have though at least one or 2 would have been great but alas only very ordinary. the pups we had with the pure show dog were the nicest dogues out..... but the most useless i ever had the misfortune to come across....they were so keen no recall ever. they just chased sheep to the ground exhusted. this they got from dad, who was exactly the same but hated sheep his preference was live chickens.
