to Charlie. He is just amazing :D May there be many more birthdays and ice creams :D

If they had doubled in price every two years, that would make them $12800. Double the price every 5 years and you get $1600 :)

Definately agree I have beat myself up over my GSD and honestly I did everything RIGHT!! That's why my advice is as I said before "learn the symptoms and WATCH your dog after feeding". If you're at all concerned do not hesitate to get your dog to the vet ASAP because timing can mean the difference between life and death Yep, I agree too. I sent myself to hell and back wondering what I could have done to prevent my boy bloating. The answer was 'nothing'. Fortunately, I knew the signs and got him to the vet in time. He's still with me and had a gastropexy during surgery. I'm paranoid that it will happen again.

Oh, that is just beyond cute!!

COTD puts them up every week or two, just keep checking back and they'll pop up

I have two for my Danes and there's been no destruction. The covers really are strong! Some dogs find them a bit slippery though. I've made an upholstery fabric pillowcase for one. Both dogs still use both beds ETA picture

My special boy of the weird faces :D

Yep, my dogs will come into the shower for a wash (even if you don't want them there). I try to only do one at a time though.....they're Great Danes and it can get squishy

Thanks

there is in Victoria ... I have always got a BOB Certificate (with the Breed points) & a BIG Certificate (with 25pts on it) when I've been fortunate to win the Group In NSW we just cross out the points and make it 25 points instead and put Best In Group under the points on the BOB certificate... cheapskates ... tell them to buy the Group cards LOL I was thinking the same thing. LOL, they're 40 cents each, same with the Best in Show cards (from Dogs NSW gazette). I know in Qld when I write we're supposed to cross the breed points out on the BOB certificate and change it to the group points, but we still do the group/show cards as well. Really? We write the breed points on the back of the card in pencil of all the BOBs. When BIG is done, we write them on the front, and fill in the group card. Don't always fill in the BOB card of the BIG (not always 25 points), so do the same for all the BIGs...........write them in after BIS

Christmas And The People Who Foster The Most In Need
D & D replied to Little Catdog's topic in General Dog Discussion
Need a 'like' button for this :D I donate what I can when I can to various rescues. I also buy my dogs Christmas presents. Buying presents for my dogs does not have any negative effect on what I donate to rescues, their presents are also not useless -

This conversation came up (in another thread) early in the year when the ruling was brought in. My thoughts at the time were this There's nothing stopping a new breeder contacting Dogz, explaining their situation (new breeder, they have shown their dogs, mentored by xxx breeder, member of zzz clubs, whatever else they think is relevant) and let the site owners decide. The rules say they are not automatically accepting, says nothing about not accepting full stop. It is, after all, a privately owned site. As it turned out, the new breeder questioning the rules was accepted as a breeder member of Dogzonline and placed an ad.

Hit up all the dog obedience places, dog parks, pet shops..........probably already done. I feel awful saying it, but check with the council as to who is responsible for collecting road kill
-
Kind of getting it The Open boy of your breed would get the points (as would the Open bitch). Had you won Minor Puppy in Group, you'd still get no points, but you would probably get a nice fringy ribbon Last comment is spot on :D
-
Yeah, but so is reproduction. We quite happily desex our pets using much more invasive surgery to debarking. I have a desexed bitch here. The reason she was desexed was, ultimately, to make my life easier I have no problems with someone debarking their dogs. It can ultimately make the owner's, the neighbours' and the council's lives easier.

But what about the spa meg. They let me share that too
-
A single bed in the loungeroom And a queensized in the bedroom They let me share the one in the bedroom :D

Meg... lol lol lol! James and I had such a laugh looking at this. My comment was 'This is what happens when you love your dog more than your money - note the custom cabinet of this shiny new spa, and who is using it? The dDane :D There's two of them......... He was trying to work out where the bubbles came from! He's not the sharpest tool in the shed
