Fingers, toes and all paws crossed here for you girl. Did the vet diagnose the spine problem or have you considered that she may have a tick??? I hope things get better for your girl.
-
If you have none of the tell tale sign of fleas have you thought that your dogs could be getting bitten by mosquitos??? Try venturing outside and see how those mozzies attack you well they can also attack your dogs the same way. I've taken to running insect repellent onto their coats before they go to bed it helps keeps the mozzies away.

I'd be watching EBay and the papers for anything that might look like your equipment. Hope you can track it and the person responsible down. If you manage to catch the person responsible maybe can use them (without the bite suit) for your next training session  BC4ME

K9 Force Photo Comp $100 Gift Voucher.
BC4ME replied to Steve K9Pro's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
Sorry but Flame gets my vote. Look at the attention she is giving Steve while he talking. She is being one well behaved canine. Remember the comp was for a dog that was working with or using Steve's techniques. If it was a beauty comp they should all win. -
Hey everyone Stop and think about the life cyle of a flea for the moment. The eggs lay dormant in the ground (like forever), we've had a little bit of rain and lovely sunny warm days. Perfect weather for all those dorment flea eggs to hatch and also ticks to thrive. Because so many fleas are hatching now I would dose your pets every two weeks and see if this stops the invasion before these fleas mature and start laying more eggs. Advantix is an excellent product. If you are not happy with the products ring the free toll number and let Bayer know they are very helpful.

I hope everything goes well for your boy. Yes I agree we as dog people who spend lots of time with our dogs know when they are not right. I hate when others say "oh he'll be right take him home and if he is not okay in a week bring him back" You have already bought your dog there because he is "Note Alright" I would ask for a refund of the first 2 consults, and meds for the misdiagnosis. I would also ask the vet to refund you the costs of the chiropractor as well. Good on you for being so persistant. If we don't stick up for our four legged friends no one else will. Good luck and let us know how things go.

I agree with Yvonne contact Jackie Perkins at Good Dog she is excellent she is the person I would reccommend in Brisbane. Good Luck

Any piece of training equipment used incorrectly can do harm, this includes flat collars, halties, check chains, e-collars etc. At our club we use whatever the owner wants to use as it is there dog not ours. But unlucky for you I'm in Brisbane. If you are not happy about using any piece of equipment don't use it, Remember your dog is exactly that "YOUR DOG". I use a check chain and have no issues using it. My dogs are happy to wear them and do not seemed to be bothered by them. Good luck

Kit Kat I am so sorry and I feel your pain but as you know Huffy is at the Bridge and is probably already showing Harm the way round the place. We will meet up with them again one day. Hugs and Kisses to you matey:hug: Maree

Firstly have you managed to get on top of your flea problem? Secondly what and how much are you feeding Maggie and are your dogs fed separtely to each other? Thirdly Maggie doesn't look very happy in any of the photo's have you considered taking her to get a vet for a checkup she may not be feeling very well. Maybe a Thyroid check? No amount of product will help if you don't have a healthy dog to start with. Please don't take my questions the wrong way but Maggie seems to have dropped far too much coat after her litter.

Hi Tracey I don't come into this forum very often as I find it too hard to deal with sometimes. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Murphy could you please pass on my sympathies to Dave, he will certainly miss her. Although I'm sure she will live on through the many other dogs she has help train into her way of thinking. Maree
