In what context is it use ie is it replacing a swear word?? What song are you using? It's in - the bit where it says "I'm too hot (hot damn!)" I would have no problem with that one :) -

You could also use something from the Beach Boys and use the skateboard as a surfboard. -

aww thanks Di Now c'mon BC4ME it's your turn! OK my boy Styler came a close 2nd to Schatzi in HTM Intermediate and he also placed 2nd in Freestyle Novice with our new routine. I was just a little please is an understatement a great way to start the year. :D -

A "guideline" is a suggestion on how to do, understand or the way in which something is to be interpreted. A "requirement" is something that must be included to pass. Remember you re reading "guidelines". Although "Poses" help give your routines a beginning and an ending or gives them structure it is not a "requirement" It is simple to incorporate poses into your routine and you would be silly not to but remember there is a difference between a guideline and requirement. -
The manual is a culmination of many different training styles from top trainers here in Australia and from overseas. It gives you a grounding of how to perform many of the moves used in DWD, so you can work with whichever style suits you and your dog. My BC boys pictures are on pages 59,79,99 and 100. There is also and obedience manual as well if anyone is interested.

That is fantastic news. Sounds like a great venue too :) It is a great venue BC4ME! We had a great day, with 9 competitors performing for the trainee judges (including a few of us who did double duty as both!) Most importantly, everyone enjoyed themselves, and we're hoping to put together our first real competition next year! Glad it all went well would love to see some pics if any were taken Good Luck with putting next years competition together. :) -

You could teach some cane work ie targeting the end of the cane, circling forward and backwards around the cane, resting feet on a horizontal cane, leg wrap around the cane...... open to your imagination what you can do with a cane :) -

Nice work everyone we recently had a double header comp with one of those being our first State Titles. We had two international judges being Carol and Michelle Dodson and one interstate judge being Deb Hyde from WA for both competitions. Everyone enjoyed the competitions with some lovely routine performed. Gay Westmore came away with Champion Freestyle Routine and Lisa Williamson with the Champion HTM Routine. The DWDCQ the held a lovely 2 day seminar with Carol and Michelle. We were left with our heads full of wonderful ideas we can put into practise. Congratulations to all those that have entered competitions lately and an even bigger congratulations if you obtained a quallie or title. We have one competition let up here in sunny QLD it will be held on the 11th October. I am looking forward to sitting in the judges seat for this competition. -

Why can't life be simple... :laugh: :laugh: I think I will go with the D7100 even though it feels big and heavy I think I will get used to it pretty quick and I think I will end up disappointed if I don't buy what I really want this time. :)

I am buying a new DSLR camera and I have narrowed it down to 2. I have Nikon lenses so I am staying with Nikon. I am upgrading from a Nikon D60 and have a fair bit of an understanding of how to get a good shot and what the camera workings are. I would class myself as a bit more than an amateur with the camera but no where near a pro. I like taking photo's animals in motion and people when they don't realise they are being photographed ie candid shots. I have done lots of reading and Utube watching and need to decide which camera I want. My decision is between the Nikon D7100 and the Nikon D5300. In comparisons they are very similar. I was going to purchase the D7100 but it seems a bit big in my hands and a little heavy (even without a lense) I have on going shoulder problems. I also like the D5300 it s smaller and lighter and feels nice in my hands. Not sure which one to get. Anybody have either of these cameras that could give me some feedback? :)

oh gee shucks Ness.......... thank you I am feeling pretty pleased with both Jim & Tasha atm to fill everyone in, we had our freestyle starters debut today with Tasha scoring 157.5/180 & 2nd!! AND Jim winning the same class, with 159/180!!!!!! Whoo Hoo that is worth celebrating Congratulations -

It great to roc all along to the music but you need to be aware of what your hands are doing ie do they look like a hand cue for a trick??? This is probably why she is trying to reverse around you :laugh: If you can't keep up with the music slow your counts down ie 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 becomes 1....2....3...4....5....6...7....8.. or &.1....2...3....4....5...6....7....8 just count every 2nd beat it is like running then walking to the same beat if can understand what I mean. :) -

We're 6hrs away from Qld, but at least we still have access to the Qld mob who are all so helpful and supportive like BC4ME I was disappointed when you couldn't come up but hey there is always another comp Although I won't be at the next one at Redlands I will be at the opening night of Les Miserable, one of our students has the role of Cossette so going down to see her :)
