That is great new. I am really glad Charlie is enjoying and benifiting from emmy's presence. Both of your doggies are just gorgeous I can see why you don't want tv much any more =]

Is An American Staffordshire Terrier A Pitbull?
altheau replied to jackie_a1's topic in General Dog Discussion
well there you go, I did not even realise that they were that closely related, I thought that they where only realted in that they were both in the same breed group. Very interesting read, great topic. I think this same problem is an issue for all domestic animals as one group of owners travel down a slightly diffrent breeding path then another, I am sure you can find very similar kinds of examples for all of them. Very interesting stuff I think =] -
wow fantastic, going great guns =]

Great pics already. Love the close up of the lovely white and black short hair doggy, lovely colours!

Wow fantastic, sometimes all it takes is for people to be pointed in the right direction. It can be so hard for consumers to come across your stuff, even if they would buy it if they saw it. That is the main problem with redbubble and the like, being just one of many it is lucky if someone comes across your stuff. I am not surprised once found people bought your stuff though, you have some lovely picas under your belt.

Thanks Kirislin, it is one of my favs as well. She was looking at her 'dad' possibly hoping to use him as an excuse to get out of posing ;p

There is a huge problem with external drives, in that alot are still mechanical. If you move then while they are spinning then you can damage them, this makes them alot more of a risk then dvds for some people imho I can't wait for solid state drives to become more of the norm, as these guys have no moving parts so they are less delicate, but then I have a super small lappy with a solid state drive . . . .guess what failed in it within a few months . . . . the hdd I used to work in tech support (have not for the last 2yrs) guess what was the first thing to fail in 90% of machines . . .hdds, about 10% of those in an unrecoverable manner. To make a mechanical hard drive out last a dvd you either need to nurse your drive, or be hard on your dvds. Please be careful with your external hdd.

I took some of my favorite photos of Yuki today And this one, to think that when we got her almost a year ago she could not stand to even be near other dogs I just wish I had got a photo of her later in the day when she collapsed against my sisters dog (the BC in the photos) and looked up at her and let her gently lick her face. She shut her eyes and just enjoyed it. =] She was such a champion today, not a problem, meet lots of dogs and took it all in her stride, mind you she is in bed now, and has been for the last 3 hours, fast asleep

I see what you mean about the last photo . . but just wanted to say, I think you are doing a great job with framing and actually catching the right frames to take, i am sure the rest will come soon. I wonder if part of it is the weight of the new camera, is it much more hefty then your old one, it might take a little while to get a solid hand on it, just a thought Any how, I think they are great and look forward to seeing more!

Thought I would post up what I mean SBT123 - That is exactly the type of picture I am after I want the nice sparkles in the eyes instead of a black patch Bec - I think you might be right, I might have to nudge my photo taking time back an hour or so.
