  1. I don't know if I just missed it, but is there any idea of parents' breeds at all?
  2. Finally got the photos up on my FB and have had interest from 1 person already who recently lost her heart dog. I have added into the comment section that I'd be happy to personally transport a puppy/s back from Bris to Rocky if they can go on the 5th of July because I'll be doing the drive that day. I'll even take my crate with me just in case next weekend.
  3. I found them in heaps of different online stores.
  4. If you click on the link to Daylesford Organics (which I now really want to visit, just quietly) it brings up a lovely photo.
  5. The treat itself is like crack to her! She will lick/chew/play with the ball for ages as long as it stays in there!
  6. I bought Luuka an Everlasting Treat Ball like this: At first she did what she's 'supposed' to do with it and just licked / played / chewed at the treat until it was all gone (took aages). But now she is managing to get the treat out and, I suppose, eating it which can't be good for her guts, those things are prettty solid. I have stopped giving them to her but she loves them so much, and I'm out all day, they're the perfect thing. Has anyone got any tips for how I can stop her getting it out? I wish I knew how she's doing it, they're hard enough for me to get out of the ball let alone her! Too clever, that one
  7. Oh god I am glad I'm alone in the office right now. The laughs in that stunning obituary were choked through tears and sobs. What a funny, charismatic, cheeky, clever boy. Vale Magnus Don't worry we'll look after your mum
  8. You too PR crazywhips I know who you are now I had a fair idea before but now I'm 99% sure Can't wait!
  9. What about that guy with the big Dane? People are so strange! Lola was sooo adorable, she was so lovely When I met her, I was crouching down patting her and a dad brought his little boy of about 3 years old up. The boy was clearly nervous and the dad was trying to make him pat Lola. I started gently stroking her on the head and the little boy relaxed when he saw me doing it, and I asked him if he wanted to give Lola gentle pats as well, and he did, and the smile on his face, omg it was beautiful. I got little tearies! Lol
  10. Great photos everyone! lm Princess is starting to look not as puppylike now! She is a beautiful girl
  11. Jed as you write these lovely and heart wrenching tributes to your beautiful babies we are all here metaphorically holding your hand (because if it was literally that would make it really hard to type...). I hope your night was restful and healing.
  12. I am showing at these shows, pretty excited, entered the open as well Anyone else showing?
  13. It is there persephone, it's the fourth story down on the right hand side "Dog saviour burnt in fire..." My mum couldn't wait to tell me that she'd seen you on the news Jed, she asks about you all the time because she knows how upset I was when this first happened. She said you were looking fab and she was damn right I've said it before and I'll say it again - you're amazing Jed! If you're floating around at Ekka time maybe we'll meet Thinking of you all the time still and hoping the best for your recovery
  14. Pipsal I'm in Rocky, can you please send me some pics and I'll chuck them up on my Facebook to see if I can find either foster carers or forever homes for them? When are you coming through Rocky?
  15. Jed, tears are coming hard and fast at your last posts. Having not been through the physical pain you've been through and only ever having lost dogs at the natural end of their long lives, I cannot imagine what you're going through and I know I'm not alone when I say with all my heart that if there was a tiny bit of your pain I could take away I would You're wonderful, keep your strength and spirits up as hard as it might be, and we will see you back in whatever capacity you are able, whenever you are able.
  16. Omg! JED! I saw your post and couldn't quite believe it, totally burst into tears, so happy to see you posting! Exactly what Kissindra said! I'll be down there on the weekend PLEASE let me know if I can do anything to help!
  17. Okay apparently there's something in my eye :') Jed take your time, we will be waiting when you get back, but we need you! It hasn't been the same without your amazing wisdom. I'll be in Brisbane this weekend, if there's absolutely ANYTHING you need please let me know! *gentle hugs*
  18. We need armbands or something! Seriously though - could we do that? Oooh! Jerseys with our usernames on the back! ;)
  19. When I woke up she had had a vomit on the floor in my room, and she was a bit lethargic. I suspect she ate some of mum's dogs' food despite our best efforts to keep her away from it (it's just canned stuff and it doesn't agree with her little belly we've learned this in the past). She's 100% fine now. I just didn't want to run the risk of taking a sick, tired puppy to a show and have her a) infect other dogs if it was infectious and b) vomit in the ring
  20. So great to hear that news goldchow. I can't wait for the day that Jed can post for herself but it doesn't matter how long it takes.. as long as it happens eventually. Thinking of you every day Jed and still lighting a candle.
  21. Luuka was sick this morning so we didn't show Naturally she is completely perked up now.
  22. Can't wait to get my mini bully. Bit of time ahead of me yet though
