hmm... I don't know. I have checked her for fleas. None present that I am aware of.

There is no scar there actually. They were the best photos I could get. It does look like a scar though but its actually the lumps together in a straight line!

They are like large pimple like things the lumps? However I don't think there pimples.
-
How do I know if they are like that?

Hi, I have noticed lately Jessie has had these lumps on her stomach. The last few days it has been there and she is licking & trying also to scratch it. I have just put pawpaw ointment on it but just wanted to see if anyone knew what it is. It's really red today. First I thought Jet might have scratched her or something as they play and he can get a little rough but the more I look at the lumps the less I think this.

Got two here that do. It's not all the time thank god. Jet runs around to the window where the computer is when he is outside & I am inside and will whine & tap at the window because he wants in. This has only started recently. I really need to address it. Jessie whinges a bit more, when she is excited & when she wants in from outside too.

I use them. However, I will look at what dogs & owners are in there first and judge by that whether I want to use it or not. The more dogs in there & the amount of larger dogs in the area the less likely of me entering only due to Jet's behavioural problems. I know what sort of dogs and how many he can handle so I won't push him. I have had only one bad experience in a dog park, the owner was outside the fenced area no where near his dog, then his dog chose to jump on top of Jessie & myself. After that I make sure all owners are close by there dogs.

Dogs I believe can sense a bad person. He was protecting you! Jet has a thing where he will growl at only certain people and they are usually the people that don't look nice.

Jessie came to us to replace our loss of our beloved Casper (RIP) She filled our hearts with love, she came to me to be a loving companion throughout my teenage years. Through loss, hurt & laughter she was always there on standby for cuddles. She came to us to show us what the perfect family pet is. No one has the same relationship we share, even until this day she is still by my side when I need her strength. Jet came to me on a whim. However I do not regret that decision and never will. He has taught me so much. Patience after training and more training he is finally at the place I want him to be. He came to me to teach me more information about the world & the dogs involved. I never knew I could love a animal as much as I care for him. He is the only thing which will not disappoint me and I can rely on 24/7. Whenever I am upset he comes and comforts me. He has everything I ever wanted and ever need in a dog. They have both taught me responsibility, which is something I really needed in my life.

there is a extra large one on the row above for another $10! beat me to it. I think I might leave it and come back. I have a airline crate already I really don't need a soft one I would just like it because it wouldn't be so hard to carry around.

*tries to resist!* I am unsure if Jet would need a medium or large soft dog crate!

VIP PET FOODS in Yatala do several training courses (unsure if you are this far southside) but they are great. Search for them in google and you will find there website.

What is the problem with that colour?

Yes you put me onto her Monah! Her training plan was great. I only saw her twice but her training was worth the time and money! This is the second training club I have attended. The first one really had no idea how to handle it at all, and would dismiss it. They prefered the outdated way as well. I am truly lucky to find some trainers who were willing to take him on in there classes. I hope you can find a good club in the future.

Jet has a case of fear agression. He used to be very unpredictable. I am confident to say now that he is managable. Over the last 6 months we have worked on it a lot. I went and saw a behaviourist here in Brisbane, she was great. Then with her recommendation we started up an obedience class. At this point he was really hard to handle and I would get overwhelmed a lot by his behaviour. I could not take him on walks without him lunging and barking/growling at other dogs, distance would be no factor, as long as he saw a dog he would react the same way. The first class at our club was him growling and barking the whole night. We concentrated on his focus in the class and made sure he was around carefree non reactive dogs. At the end of the 6 weeks he was not leaving my side. Would have complete focus on me & with recall he would come straight to me offlead! I can now take him to dog parks again or public places with other dogs. There has been the odd one or two times he has growled at another dog since then but as soon as I call him and make him focused on me, he forgets about everyone else around and ignores other dogs. This has turned into a gloat about how proud I am sorry! He is now very predictable. I put this down to the more I have learnt as an owner about his body signals and training with control.

I have only recently used the zip lock bags for two days worth of meat. I will take it out in the morning put something underneath it, like a plate or another plastic bag and then it should be ready for dinner. If I forget I defrost it. If I leave it for to long in the microwave it will cook thats why I defrost it to the point where it is still a little frozen. They still eat it without a problem.

What Do You Use To Walk Your Dog And Why?
Jetty replied to aussielover's topic in General Dog Discussion
I voted flat collars & normal lead and also the halti. I only use this sometimes when I need Jet to pull less. I used to use a retractable lead back when he was younger but it caused me some injuries and it was not as strong. Would never use one again. -
Dogs That Sleep In The House - Question On Times
Jetty replied to JulesP's topic in General Dog Discussion
Usually around 930-10pm are the last toilet break. Then When I get up 6-63am they go out again. -
There is a vet in Pimpama (unsure of the name) that I hear people raving about. Never been myself as I am content with my Vet in Beenleigh but it wouldn't hurt to do some research on that. I go to Anvet in Beenleigh and I am happy with the service.

The garage should be okay since its winter until you get a dog run up

this is a difficult situation. I know people who have used the anti bark collars and they have worked well. I even used the citrenella one on my dog however it did not work as well. I don't think a run would stop them from barking but it would protect them. I personally would give them a large amount of exercise daily first for a while and see if that minimises the barking. If they still do it maybe the only option would be to leave them inside.

Even try chicken necks that are still a bit frozen.
