Sorry didn't see this message until this morning, I stayed the night at Durack so don't have the show stackers with me. I am the only person here with a Newfoundland so not hard to find and I am showing in ring 4. I am camped near a large motor home. Come and see me and i can check which show we are both at next.

You beat me to it, I also have a set I could take to Durack on Sat/Sun mine are the largest size, maybe someone else is after a set as well.

I have a dog with Sebaceous Adenitis which is an auto immune disease and it affects each dog differently. My boy has it mainly on his head and face and what it does is kills the hair follicle and makes sores. It can only be diagnosed with a biopsy maybe you could check to see if your dog has this as well http://www.upei.ca/~cidd/Diseases/dermatology/sebaceous%20adenitis.htm

Caution..... Could Cause Drooling ...

I don't have one of the breeds you mentioned but one of my dogs is a Newfoundland and just wanted to comment about the drool. My husband told me for five years "no way is one of those drooling slobbery dogs ever going to live in this house while I am here". Well I guess that threat didn't work, we do have one of those dogs and OH is fine with him. The drool is not too bad, we just get out of the road if he shakes his head. The main thing is he is always wet under his neck and drops water every where after a drink, so look out if he wants to put his head in your lap. Insurance is strongly recommended if you are getting a giant breed, the vet bills are always higher and so is worming, and flea treatment. Not to mention the food bill in the first twelve months. Good luck with your search, another suggestion would be to get along to some dog shows and look at the breeds you mentioned.

I love it but I think she needs a bigger bed  -
Very very sad, I just hope it was quick and they didn't suffer. I lock all my dogs inside at night only when I am here other wise they have a doggy door so they can get outside if they need to. Its my biggest fear loosing my pets to a fire.

That was beautiful, look what non dog lovers miss out on all those wet kisses

One of my dogs is on Atopica which is costing us $100 for 15 tablets, I am now buying them from California Pet pharmacy and they are costing me $25 for 15 tablets. My dog,s dermatoligist had to write the script which luckily he did. I emailed the pet pharmacy to find out what information was needed to be on the script, once I had that I just scanned it and emailed it to them. I was worried they would not get through customs but I have just brought four boxes and they came through no trouble. http://www.californiapetpharmacy.com/

We have five, two standard poodles one is 10 next month and one that just turned 9. A toy poodle that is 8 and a Jack Russell that is 8.5, the newest addition is one I never thought my husband would agree to is my 12 month old Newfoundland. Added to this mix is one persian cat. The dogs have free reign of our family room and all sleep inside.

Just tried to buy two twice and with two different credit cards it would not go through, looks like my dogs won't be getting them All sorted just ordered two

Our Jack Russell gets hot spots and I find if I shave the spot where the hot spot is and give it a spray with Cetrigen it dries it out.( its bright pink) As someone else said you need to keep them dry, if your dogs do lots of swimming leaving them wet can cause hot spots. Not sure where you are but we are in Qld so the high temperatures and humidity are great for producing hot spots. http://www.virbac.com.au/p-virbacaupuben/display.aspx?srv=p-virbacau&typ=pubā©=en&cmd=view&style=styles/specie.xsl&select=PRODUCT%5B@ID$eq$PRODUCT_252%5D&affp=&

That is fantastic and I also think we need some better photos. I have just come home from two days showing my Newf and got our first class in group win and BOB. So I am really interested in seeing him in the ring if anyone can find a link.
