  1. Sorry to hear about Faith and I hope she makes a speedy recovery. :) Today I saw a dog laying up in the back parcel shelf of a car, at first I thought it was a stuffed dog until it moved. Then I saw a man driving with a maltese terrier in his lap, where are the police when you want them. I have just brought five new harnesses and seat belt clips for my dogs.
  2. I brought these and its by far the best thing I have ever brought to get dog hair off material https://www.globalshop.com.au/products/schticky
  3. I didn't have insurance for my first four dogs and have suffered financially because of it. Oscar was diagnosed with an Auto immune disease at 8 years old and his medication and treatment is expensive and ongoing for the rest of his life. So when i got my newfoundland I insured him straight away but as yet have not made a claim.A friend just had her Newfoundland suffer an episode of bloat and paid out over $6000, so I am too afraid not to have cover.
  4. Yes I would love it, my poodle Oscar is on Atopica for an auto immune disease he has, he is on 25mg but I could half them. I currently import it from California to try and cut the cost down Will send you a Pm

  6. Sorry to hear about your dog it is sad when they get older There are a few places on the net, here are a few to start with I hope you find what you are after http://www.aquapaws.com.au/product/12 http://www.doggon-au.com/home.html http://www.doggiewheelchair.com/2011/10/paralyzed-dog-rescued-from-down-under.html
  7. Thank you for the reply's, I have found a butcher that I can get chicken carcass's necks and wings for a pretty good price. Its knowing what else I need to put with it and how much. Plus Oscar my standard poodle just wont touch it. If you put a tin of Pal ( I know disgusting) in front of him he would eat it all,put a brisket bone or chicken neck in his bowl and he will walk away. Any tips always greatly received, sorry to hijack this thread
  8. Would love to know what you feed that you find it more economical, I have five dogs and any attempt to feed raw has worked out way to expensive to continue. I just tried K9 Natural but two dogs wouldn't touch it even after three days of no other food and it was more then double the cost of feeding kibble. One of my dogs hates any form of chicken bones and raw meat so I wouldn't know what to give him. He sits on the boarder of being underweight so I worry if he wont eat something. Currently four of my dogs are given Nutro dry food and chicken necks and bones, my Newf is on Proplan and chicken frames plus add ons. Combined I have over 130 kilos of dogs so raw is costly, would love if someone has any tips on feeding them cheaper because I would prefer to feed raw.
  9. Stunning photos, stunning horses
  10. He is the cutest puppy I have seen, just love him.
  11. I have one of these http://www.prestigepetproducts.com.au/index.php?pid=pro&product=2675&sid=&uhash=
  12. Thanks Chrisovar, that is my concern that it is going to be to costly to feed my five dogs on this product. I will go back and do a search and see if I can find the old thread on this product. DiscoDobe it was an agility person that has put me onto it, she has said it improves coat and health. I have ordered my fist five kilo box so I will wok out the cost to feed around 130 kilos of dogs on this product.
  13. No should have explained myself better, its freeze dried dog food. Here is the link http://www.k9natural.com
  14. As the title says does anyone use K9 Natural, if you are happy with it what changes have you seen in the dog? I have five dogs and am looking into changing to this product depending on how much it costs, would love to hear from others that use it.
  15. I got this tread mixed up with another one, sorry
  16. We also have a leather lounge but if I need to remove dog hair I use the wide rolls of sticky tape.
  17. Yes we are entered on the 6th and 7th in group 6 so look forward to meeting you
  18. Wish you had dropped by to say hi, we had a fantastic day winning Junior in show with my Newfoundland. Have you entered any of the upcoming shows?
  19. I second that if you are entered at Durack on Sunday come and say hi I am the only one with a Newfoundland in group six. I am happy to show you where you go to pick up your number and catalogue if you ordered one. In Qld its not necessary to send a stamped addressed envelope unless they ask for it, otherwise they just send you back a recipe and no numbers. Most shows up here you collect your number on the day. Have you brought a crate or anything else that you will need at the show? If you havant you can buy things you need at the show so just bring your credit card. ( I try to not bring mine anymore its way to dangerous. Remember to have fun
  20. You sound like you are really trying but two things ring alarm bells for me, one the breeder sold you the puppies at six weeks. The second thing is you cant take one back, most reputable breeders will take back a puppy and find a suitable home for it. I dont like the sounds of how they are behaving and think you have lots of trouble in front of you, I am not experienced enough to give you advice but I wish you all the best.
