I saw last nights program can anyone tell me when the next Australian one is? I found it really funny to listen to the Australian accent it didn't sound right after watching the American shows.

We have a six year old wire haired Jack and he is a great little dog, he is more then happy to sit on our lap for a cuddle. He has never dug a hole or looked like trying to escape. He will play all day with our female standard and is great at the park with other dog's. He loves to float around our pool in a bean bag, his only problem is he has a tendency to put on weight so we have to keep that under control. He shows little interest in the cane toads but a mouse would not survive if he is around. Not sure about snakes because we haven't had to tackle that one. A great all round little dog

43deg yuck I will join in great idea Daisy, I made the mistake of walking my dogs really early because of the heat. Now my Jack Russell wakes me up between 4 and 4.30 every morning to go walking. So before I have time to think about I get out of bed and hit the road around 4.45am. I am surprised at how many dog people I see out at this time. I have started to try and walk a different route every day or I get bored and I am sure they do as well. I walk all four of mine at once on my own or occasionally my husband will join us. If I don't walk them in the morning it just wont happen, I can talk myself out of anything

Got mine today very fast delivery, I will let you know how it goes on my dogs and my parrots.

I walk four at once the two standards on one lead on my left and the toy and the Jack Russell on one lead on my right. They all know there place and very rarely swap around. I also get the "Boy they must be a handful when they are all walking nicely beside me".

I will also say don't call Electrodry, we paid $200 to have them clean and deodorise our carpets after we had family stay for three weeks. I had quite a few stains from my daughters son who has reflux and they didn't get one stain out. I had a company come out yesterday to talk about dying our carpet and they said it doesn't need dying it is just dirty and still full of soap. They quoted $120 plus GST to clean it properly. It hasn't been done yet so i cant say how good a job they will be.

Thanks for the tip I have just ordered mine, I have two Eclectus parrots so I am hoping it will work on them as well. Normally I clip the dogs without any issues but my birds cost me $200 to get the vet to trim there nails. Fingers crossed it is ok for them.

I am more angry that a vet is in some way associated with a person that buys litters from a puppy farm, to hell with making money off her I would tell her to take her puppies else where. Anyway back to your friend, you can give all the information but its up to your friend to decide what to do in the end. I know its really frustrating but we can educate those that want to be educated, the others will never change. Some times when you try to hard and can drive the person into the opposite direction to where you want them to go. Good luck

I feel for you, that must be a hard to live in an area like that where you cant help them all. I understand why you cant take him home, at least you are helping him the best you can. Its a pity someone cant chain up all the humans for a week and see how they like it.

Would they surrender the dog to you (only temporarily) then you could work with him and find a much more suitable home for him. No dog deserves to live like this. I am sending you a huge pat on the back for caring.

As stated above the Ashmore groomers are good but they don't get out knots and they don't clean ears?
