I can't imagine Kylie leaving her babies unattended, I have heard she asked someone else to watch them while she toiletted another. How sad is that, I do hope he is found I cant imagine what she is going through.

Very sad and I hope he is found, but after attending the Ekka in Brisbane a couple of times to help a friend with her show dogs, I am surprised that he was left unattended. We would never not even for a minute leave the dogs without someone watching them.

Just had to update the list I forgot to add my 50mm

For me it is Coco my toy poodle, she has to be able to see me at all times. If I put her outside she will run around the house until she can see me through a window, then she just sits and watches me. When I am on the lounge watching TV she is up behind me, I am sure its not healthy for her but it is the way she has always been.

Is There A Limit On The Number Of Dogs I Can Own?
mish13 replied to Steve's topic in General Dog Discussion
I am on the Gold Coast and was granted a permit to have my four dogs and we have a quarter acre block. Have you applied to have your four where you currently live? I currently have two but I hate that I would have to buy a puppy first before they can give approval. I can't imagine saying to my three kids "Sorry the council says no to 'puppy' so we either have to sell our family home and move or take 'puppy' back to the breeder. It's such a horrible thought, but could happen. Daisy might just be our 2nd cat Sorry should have read your post better, I thought it said you already had four dogs. I had my four dogs at this house for six years before I applied for my permit so you can imagine how nervous I was. A lot of people said why bother but I was nervous every time I walked them. I worried if a dog catcher stopped me what would I do, plus we were paying for two post office boxes just so we had different address's. -

Iphone 3g/iphone 4 Camera Comparison
mish13 replied to whiskedaway's topic in Photos, Photos, Photos
Thank you for taking the time to do that, I am just waiting for my new Iphone 4 so its good to see it will be better then my old one. -
Another idea is to look if there is any doggy day care facilities in your area, a new puppy at home alone is not going to be happy. What will happen if the dog is a barker and barks all day while you are at work? Is anyone in your town house complex at home during the day that might look after your dog for a small fee whilst you are at work? Will you be able to take time of work when you bring the new puppy home? Friends of mine brought a Labrador puppy and I minded her along with my four dogs three days a week. The bit of extra money was good for me and the puppy was happy to not be left alone. Will you have time to go for a walk before and after work to try and wear the puppy out so they will sleep. Sorry if I come across as negative but my parents live in a town house with a front and back yard. A few people in there complex of 17 have dogs and they are not aloud to bark at all.Plus they can never be in the common area unless on a lead, what are the rules where you are?

Advice Needed For Council Approval For 3 Dogs
mish13 replied to GRLC's topic in General Dog Discussion
I cant give you advice but I can tell you what happened when I applied I have four dogs two standard poodles, a toy poodle and a Jack Russell We have lived at our current address for six years without a complaint but I decided to apply so I could rest easy when I walked them all together. We are on the Gold Coast in Queensland I paid the money and waited, they contacted me to do a house inspection which they did and they photographed all the dogs one by one. We live on a quarter acre block backing onto a 2 acre vacant block. The inspector then dropped a piece of paper in heaps of peoples letter boxes, in my street and in the street behind us. The letter said I had applied to keep four dogs and they had four days to ring with a legitimate complaint. If no phone calls were made which there wasn't I would be able to keep my dogs. Next I got a laminated certificate in the mail with a photo of my dogs on it stating they were all legal at this address. I cannot replace them with other dogs, it has to be the ones in the photo. It is such a nice feeling to know the council cant tell me to get rid of any and I truly feel for you in your situation. I would definitely appeal and get your local councilor to help you. Good luck my fingers are crossed for you. -
A year already, that time went quick Happy 1st Birthday Katty ;)

What a great idea, would love to see more photos maybe with the dogs in their new cubby.
