Poor owners and poor Butch. Such a waste of time, money and a dog's life.

Lots of little white fluffies and little dogs have had a crack at mine Little fluffies are the only ones who are silly enough to try and take on my GSDs  Unfortunately another bad rap for Pits, if the house was being raided..... again an example of how this breed draws some bloody idiot ppl that ruin the breed for the rest who are responsible. I hope this special boy makes a quick physical and emotional recovery. Exactly. Criminal? Selling drugs? What breed should I get? Uuummm how about that badass breed that we keep seeing in the news that are so badass that the Government has BANNED them! *goes and finds litter of poorly bred, poorly raised 'pit bulls'* The bans have created a lot of the demand. Heal well big boy, I hope there's no lasting physical or emotional problems.

I've always found show Neo's to be grotesque but the working girl is stunning

How horrible, I hope the poor dog heals well and is back on duty soon enough. What a special dog. You're kidding right? How about... other GSD, Rottweilers, any large breed and have you seen how many small fluffers run up and try and attack big dogs?? Yep, Pits can do lots of damage when they attack. As can any dog breed higher than knee height.

I posted this video a while ago, and was quite shocked that a large amount of people defended the officer's actions.

K9pro Online Shop Great Customer Service
melzawelza replied to sunnyjohn's topic in General Dog Discussion
Maybe they just aren't contacting us to chase their order up, because it is rare that we get a lost order. I'll have to keep a better eye on the K9 Pro threads on DOL, as I still can't recall that large a number of people posting on here about lost orders, but then again I don't read every thread either  Lol, it wasn't heaps in one thread.. There were two or three mentions in the last thread I read, a couple in this one and I know someone IRL too who had the same issue. I guess after reading this one it seemed like a lot all up. -
K9pro Online Shop Great Customer Service

Hi Melzawelza Out of literally thousands of orders since we opened our K9 Pro online store, we can think of maybe ten orders in that time that Australia Post has lost and have never been found again. We do our best to assist anyone whose order has been lost through the post, and I certainly wouldn't say it is something that happens a lot. I also haven't seen all the threads about lost orders?? I could have missed them though :) Thanks for that, I must have just heard of quite a few of those ten. Or maybe the ones I heard of were found eventually. The previous threads weren't about lost orders, they were just about K9pro in general and a few people mentioned that their items were lost in the post. Seems like it might be an Auspost issue from what a few others are saying too. -
K9pro Online Shop Great Customer Service

I think that's a pretty broad statement to make. Australia post is pretty dodgy these days and their service is getting worse, so do you suggest that companies start offering courier only? That's the only way to make sure things don't go missing but it also costs a LOT more.. Over the last year i've had many things go missing, and one package even took over 12 months to get back to the original recipient... I had one package arrive back at work the other day, with a note on it from the postie saying the address in question doesn't exist, when it did and all the other stuff we sent there arrives on time. I didn't say it was K9pro specific, I asked if this is happening across the board and is therefore an Aus Post problem? Because I seem to be constantly hearing about items from K9pro never arriving. That could just be that they're very popular on here and there's been a few threads so it's discussed. Maybe other companies are having the same issue with packages not arriving but I'm just not hearing about it. Either way, after how many I've heard of never turning up I'd be ensuring I pay for the insurance. -

I have to say between the people in this thread, previous threads and people I know IRL, a LOT of products from K9pro seem to be going missing in the post. I don't know if this is something that's happening with the post across the board or is a k9pro specific issue? -
"potentially dangerous" worries me. This probably means specific breeds.

Delta Dog Training Course / Ndtf Course
melzawelza replied to charley101's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
If you dig your heels in they won't make you but they strongly suggest you try everything so that you know the method. -
Nope, in NSW it is the responsibility of the OLD owner to lodge the change of ownership paperwork, and you can get fined for not doing it. ETA: Link - Section 31 No I meant papers with the CC not council regs All of my chips are in the new owners names but my CC regos there would be a hell of a lot still in my name because we cant change them over on their records. Ahh, I see! That's certainly frustrating then, surely so many people would have heaps of dogs left in their names!

Inside currently as we're in an apartment but in a few weeks I'll be in my house with a yard so she'll be outside all day, inside at night.

Grass Eating - Are They Sick?
melzawelza replied to LOLAFOLATA's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Yeah, when they eat it because they feel yucky it's like they've got a sense of urgency to it... Like they're trying to eat as much as they can in as short a time as possible. (A few weeks ago my girl ate a heap of poo at the park and was doing this constantly). But when they just graze at it or have a normal munch I think they just enjoy it! -

Oh, NO!!! Poor little Gilbert... I hope everything is ok Cos, we need many more years of Gilbert changing people's negative opinions of Jack Russells!!

Disgusting. Yeah she stayed with the dog. One thumbs up and a thousand thumbs down for her.

This is a great and very kind offer from Pav Lova. You should take her up on it, as it will be the best thing for Missy to be living with someone with the skills and time to put into her that she needs.

Delta Dog Training Course / Ndtf Course
melzawelza replied to charley101's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
I went NDTF because I don't believe it is valuable to only be taught two quadrants and particular tools. Learn everything then choose what YOU are comfortable / happy with. NDTF are looking at increasing theirs to a Cert 4, those of us that have done the cert 3 will then just have to do a small bridging course to get the cert 4. Also - NDTF is the only one that is actually dog specific, Delta isn't dog specific and covers all animals (that could be a bonus to you or not). -
Actually, I think that it might have happened in a different order. The egocentric clueless individuals are why the breed is in such a predicament and why it has so many issues. They created the stigma. You're probably right there however the restrictions have increased this problem x1000. Now every douchebag out there wants a pitty and is breeding them in the shed. Pups can go for $1000 + with no proof of breed anyway... it was never that rampant before the restrictions.

The cats are welcome in the bed (and I spoon the boy in my sig every night!) but the dog is either in her crate or on her own dog bed.
