What brands do you guys wear?

Yep no titer test - up to you if you want to vaccinate for it yearly I was under the impression, and both my dogs have confirmed it to be true, that once you dog has contracted KC it ias higly unlikey for them to ever get it again (aside from when they are ill and/or elderly) so what would be the reaosn to get them vaccined against it more than once ? I thought that also, because my dog caught the Renbury KC a few years back, but this year he got it again, the strain wasn't as strong and no green snot, but the cough was still there. Not the aweful hacking though... so maybe they have a immunity against that particular strain and there would be plenty out there just like the human flu.

One of mine has a haematoma, last Tuesday she was sedated and they drained it. Placed her on a mixure of tablets to try and stop the bleeding. Last night we were back at the vet to drain it again, but this time, they did it whist she was awake. they drained blood out this time, the first time it was more of a clear fluid. I would recommend taking her to the vet to get some tablets to help with the clotting. The blood vessel may not heal without the tablets.

Just reminds me of a rescue story... They are loving and lovable because they have been in a yard only with other dogs and no human contact! I wonder why obedience classes were not very successful.

OML: Remember it is also very important to Register and Microchip your pet. Additionally if you are not a breeder, for your pet's comfort and your peace of mind you should also have your pet desexed. Whats wrong with this dogs eyes: Don't forget Nap time: They aint that smart, because if you go to the home page it doesn't work, but every other page is still online......

That exactly what It looked like. At least that is one puppy farmer gone. And just looked at the cat page, some of them do not look very healthy. Just rang the mobiles on their site, funny no answer at all. Better be super sure its them before we jump to conclusions. I was just going to ask to see if they had any puppies for sale

At least you have scores to improve on now for next time, you can only improve from that ... Did the judge give you a break down of points?

What Is Good And What Is Not?
nickojoy replied to Seven's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
Chewing problems - don't leave anything around for the dog to chew - problem solved Crates are for all size and all ages, not only a pup. As they grow up, they know the crate is their space, my dogs get fed in their crates and sleep in their crates, when they are naughty they get sent to their crates. Why do you want to confine your pup to only one part of the yard? -
At the beginning of this year, our 14 month old GSD was xrayed and came back with HD and Arthritis in her elbows, we made the decision to PTS, only because she was young and she wouldn't have had a quality life. You need to weigh up your options with this, are you going to afford the medications for life, the special diet, the ongoing xrays to see if it has gotten worse?

Obedience Classes On The Weekend
nickojoy replied to Kaz's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
Steve Austin is really good Kaz, you will learn a lot from him. :D I would suggest you go watch, each one before signing up to a club, even if you take your video camera with you. There is no use spending say $50 if you are not happy on the first day. Nic -
I couldn't agree more :D

If you are after a staffordshire puppy, ask the breeders and other people in the stafford thread, they may be able to assist you and point you in the right direction of current litters around that are ethical breeders. stafford thread

Yeah you do, I was reading about this the other week in the breeders section. The listed dogs must be registered. Other than the rescue listings which are desexed and rescue dogs only.
-
The breeder is registered and she found the advert in the puppy pages on DOL, but its strange that that puppy isn't a SBT.

How long after you give them to a dog do they flush out the system? I'm just a little worried about crating them all tonight just incase there is a little accident. They were due today so gave them all tablets at lunch time.
-
Have you paid full price for the pup?
-
What's the chills? I have never heard of this before. edit - Is this a Blue Stafford Puppy?

Can or fresh?

Is all this raw or do you cook some?

Just wondering what treats you give to your dogs. Not the ones you buy in the packets from the shops, but like in fruit or vegies. I give mine the following and though I could expand a little: Pear Carrots Strawberry Celery (not 100% keen)
-
My boy does it, and if your not quick with poo patrol, you don't have to clean up for the day. There is several threads around about it. Some dogs only do it in winter because the poo is fresh and warm.

These are now gone.
-
That must be the one. So its now useless to me. As my biggest has had his yearly injection. Does anyone want these? I have 2 they expire in 2010, I am happy to post today for free.
