We stay at Carrum Downs Caravan Park, with four large dogs...never any issues there and quite friendly. You can ask for the green key, which is to a door that leads to a nice walking area for dogs. We do not do off leash there (big dame, which my dogs would use). We have stayed there about six times now, quite clean too.......And only 7kms from KCC Park .there is a Beach at Seaford nearby where dogs are allowed too.

And my dog had a great three sessions at the agility set-up by the GSD Club..........They were such a friendly lot of people, well done. Annabelle loved the tunnels and jumps...Tunnels are her all time favourite

I have one right now with only one tank, but I would love a second tank. or at least the ability to re-use the soapy water again on all of my newfs and rinse separately. I find the doors that open into a ramp too difficult for my newfies, slippery or too narrow. mine happily step-up into a tub with a hinged door. I would love to have a slightly wider tub, so mine could turn, as I like to keep it against the wall. And I do like the lower area, to be able to lean over. I am lucky in that my dogs love a wash and are very co-operative. A good hand piece that is not too heavy and holds well would be nice. With a hose that is not too stiff, so that it is more pliable and easy to maneuver. I am always suffering from an almost RSI after washing four dogs. Heating is not such an issue with me as I have hot and cold water. But I suppose if it had a heater I could take it into the barn. Colour is not important, but it would be nice if it looked tidy.....maybe a caddy attached for easy reach shampoo's and such. Sounds like you are interested in what people want, that is great and good luck in your venture

Dog body language is something I am very interested in and I try to study it all the time. One of my dogs was extremely Dog aggressive and due to my learning lots from Turid, I am now able to pick her signs early and even prevent/stop her when she is bothered or possibly going to be bothered. I use yawning and licking lips a lot with this girl. It has even prevented her from moving in a sit/stay where another dog came up to her and wanted to play. Without that knowledge and her personality anything could have happened. With the right teacher I would be there in a flash........Let me know if there are any planned

Newfies are a great dog to own and from good breeders can lead a good healthy life, but they do require a lot of grooming....... There are newfies in Rescue too, especially NSW. They love kids and would simply love the beach. Mine are very active, but are happy when we have inactive days. Overall a very easy dog to get along with, especailly if you have done some early training

We have an undesexed male and female.....And it is amazing how people do not seem to be able to "get it" when I say I am not breeding. Just because they are both pure breeds and not desexed does not mean you have to breed. One of my bitches is in season right now. It takes some effort, but they are still managed and we will have no puppies. The other question when you say you are not breeding them is "when will you be desexing them?"

No one seems to assume that with me..........Probably because they are fluffy

One of our Kelpies once tried to jump into the car when the window was closed. he had what sounded like a very similar episode. Our vet told us that is was due to a neck injury, from hitting the window. He often had neck pain after that (obvious pain and crying) Fred also screamed and was unable to move, It did settle and he had anti-inflammatory meds and acupuncture. I think you might be right, that something was "put out" during tring to catch the ball. Hope Tully feels better soon

:cry: OMG.... :cry: that is just so sad.....At least that particular dog had someone with him who cared...I can just imagine how some others are PTS

I show my dogs ( Breeder asked me to) Several Judges have commented on how muscular my dogs are and how lean.........Mine will go forever on a cool day, but mid Summer we stay in the cool. We walk early, late or go swimming. Luckily our Obedience classes are at 8pm

Eric is really good being so short in the leg and having the balance to get up. Tessa also loves walking all the green poles. It seems that it gives them a new dimension in life when they learn...... Esky is awesome, he also has balance...... The birdbath :laugh: , just so funny If you want some quick lessons on hind-leg awareness. kikkopup on youtube has some great lessons

:laugh: If they could only paint, that would be great. the ladder was just about teaching a skill....But the teaching of the skill made the dogs made the dogs try things for themselves. They go on their own little climbs when we are out walking, except the last picture. Tessa was asked to do it. And because it is so high, hubby was there to catch her just in case. But she was good at it

Here are some pics of Annabelle and Tessa...They love to climb on our walks by the Murray and Lake Hume. Both love agility And always choose to do it on most of our walks where the opportunity is to climb. They started low, but have got quite high now......
