Thanks Anne I'll have a look at Officeworks too. I'm thinking of doing one book per family, about six all up and was looking at the soft covers. Has anyone had a photo book made with a soft cover? It says on the website it is like a magazine thickness. Is it like Vogue thickness or TV Week? Just wondering how dog eared it would look after a while.

Hi everyone, It is my Grandma's 80th Birthday in March and I have been looking at getting her either a photo book or a calendar. There are heaps of places on web. Has anyone got a site they have used and can recommend?

I always just put in a SAE. For the sake of 55c I am happy to know that my entry is in. Does this mean we might finally catch up at a show Erin?

I sent a SAE in and haven't received it back either. Normally they at least send it back empty with the clubs name and date of show on the back. If I haven't received it by early next week I was going to call.

No I agree. I'd pay the fine but make sure it has the correct date on it so you don't have a problem if they re-issue another ticket for the month previous.

I first fell in love with the Shih Tzu as a breed when I started grooming. There was the most amazing black and white who was the biggest sook in the world, his name was Oscar I got my first Shih Tzu five years ago and will always have one. She has definitely won my heart! I bought her as a show dog and she HATED going to the shows and being cooped up all day. She is as rough and tumble as they come so keeping her in full coat was just not fair on her. She loves going to the beach and will play fetch until my arm aches (although she keeps nudging me to keep playing). She does get hot easily so long walks are out. Daisy is happy inside or out and I never had a problem with toilet training her. I agree that she has little dog syndrome, she thinks she is 10 feet tall and being brought up with Goldens she thinks she just has shorter legs I have seen ones with skin conditions but if you buy through a reputable breeder you shouldn't have any problems. Daisy is as robust as they come. If they are kept short and their eyes clean their coat is really easy to maintain. I have three young children and she is great with them. She even puts up with having bows in her hair occasionally. Here is Daisy as a baby. And now

So you enter your dogs photo? and then they send you a catalogue with all the dogs photos? or just names?

Some dogs hate the noise and some hate the force of the air. Try having your border on the table covered in a towel with the dryer about a metre away and the nozzle turned away from you. Turn it on while you continue to brush him around the head. Don't make a fuss over turning it on. (If you have someone to help it will make it easier.) While brushing his head try slowly turning the dryer towards him so it goes just by the end of his tail. Again don't fuss and if he reacts give him a down/drop command. Keep it on for 5 mins and if he settles, turn it off for 2 mins and then repeat a couple of times. Next time he gets bathed do it for longer until he gets the idea that if he stays still the whole drying thing happens really quickly Slowly move the towel away from his tail, then back legs etc until he is happy being dried all over. Leave the head for last, most dogs hate having their faces dried. I hope that helps a bit.

What is a virtual dog show? I only started showing last year and didn't hear about the one for Vic.
