  1. There is anew protocol which is only 2 vaccinations, either 6 and 10 weeks or 8 and 12 weeks i think from memory
  2. I have one i got of ebay It increases the stim if the dog keeps on barking as per the innotek one It has worked well and cost $60.00
  3. Our colds are not contagious to dogs. So it is safe to play with her 10 weeks is right if she was done at 6 weeks
  4. It isn't too late to start and you will see an improvement on the Green Pet Joint Formula within a few days It is really great stuff
  5. It isn't worth it, i have heard too many stories of dogs being stangled. If your animals are chipped then if they get out they will be reunited with you anyway...hopefully
  6. http://www.greenpet.com.au/pet-shop/cart.p...;category_id=69
  7. Green pets has a joint formula that is about $80 per kilo tub - it has devils claw in it which is a pain killer I have seen huge relief in animals using it - and you can order it on line
  8. Good luck, i hope everything turns out for your girl
  9. With your girl being 12months old, does her breeder want her hips xrayed? That would be my first port of call - getting her hips xrayed and at the same time a plate of her back That way your chiro can see the problem/s instead of feeling them.
  10. Ok noone that i know will be able to help - wrong state. A good bowen therapist should be able to do wonders for your pup. Regular treatments will help also Did you have xrays done to confirm the damage? If so, take them with you to your chiro or bowen therapist - it will give them a better view of what is the matter
  11. What state are you in? I know of a dog that had compressed nerves in its lumbar sacral area and with treatment is doing really well
  12. What did your breeder say to feed? It could be that the ratios of everything are off. My first port of call would be my breeder then the vet Good luck
  13. I was actually told not too feed dry and meat together as is throws out the balance of the nutrients such as calcium and phosphorus. I prefer feeding Proplan over Euk but i know many who are really happy with Euk. Maybe ask your breeder what she/he thinks - they may have a preference and some breeders do like to have an input on what their pups are raised on.
  14. That is great Shellectra Ask them the questions you have asked here, with their experience they may have some other ideas for you
  15. GSD pups are gorgeous. Are you getting your pup from a local breeder? Also maybe ask your breeder some of these questions as they should have some great ideas, and they may have put them in a puppy pack for you, that they can share.
  16. Good luck with Mandela - i hope that everything can be sorted
  17. Erny you can also use the goats milk formula that you get for babies for Mandela if you dont have storage room
  18. I did the same with my pup feeding in the morning and then when we got home and them before bedtime If you have a kong, you can leave some treats in that - fry food and mince etc so she gets a third small meal. As for asking your neighbour, i didn't and it worked well for me but it is up to you. Good luck and enjoy your pup, they grow up way too quickly And a crate in your room is a wonderful thing, but be prepared for some noise the first night
  19. Deb Hall is in lang lang but she will come to you There is also another lady out your way that comes to you Her name is Danni
  20. Bugger you cant do half/half. If you can teach the pup to use the litter that would be a great solution because you can easily clean that without having to scrub the concrete. The puppy pads probably would be more absorbant but a lot more expensive.
  21. I would go with newspaper. As he gets older you can reduce the area that the paper covers. Is there a way that you can have the pen half on concrete and half on the grass? If not go with the newspaper. Good luck Shepherd pups are just gorgeous
  22. I take mine out from when they come home at 8weeks I carry them and only let them down to socialise at houses that i know are safe with dogs i know are safe I feel that early socialisation is far too important to not do because of vaccinations. It is up to each person to make the decision that is right for them.
  23. Good luck with your pup. Maybe when you take her out you can carry her for most of the walk and let her have a small play before returning home. As it has been said, long walks and lots of exercise can be bad for a puppys joints. You have done a great job with her, keep up the great work
