jack and dash's mum

Thank you I will check for that as they are different weights and I remember him mixing up their weights and he thought Jack had put on a lot of weight so that worries me that he has mixed up both dogs.

Thanks for your advice I am going to ring some other trusted vets, from people I know and see if they can help me figure this out without stressing Jack out further he hasn't had a good day, has had some small fits, he's also epileptic and doesn't want to do anything much but sit close by the back door on the mat. Really don't like to take my eyes off him, thank you all again.

I really can't remember if he gave him two as Dash is such a needy dog that he usually distracts me when I am holding Jack and I could have been trying to calm him at the time as well, I have never had a problem before and I really do think he only had the one injection but not sure, my concern is that the vet should have it in his records.

Well whats happened to my 10 year old chihuahua is he was awake all night Sunday coughing, a loud honking noise, and he has had this before and the vet told me he did have a heart murmur and that is had got worse and he may need to go on medication. So I didn't get an itemized account the last time I had both my dogs vaccinated last month, but at the time thought that it had just gone up and was way more expensive than I had planned, so I queered the receptionist about it when I rang to ask for an appointment and she informed me that Jack had been charged for the heart worm injection as well as Dash which was wrong as only Dash is supposed to get it. So when I saw the vet he told me he couldn't tell me if he had given Jack the injection or if he had made a mistake in telling the office what to charge so I'm worried what affect this might have on Jacks health and if I should go to my old vet for another check as well. I only started going to this vet as Dash howls in the car and it was closer to home and now I'm really upset that this vet doesn't even know what he gave Jack and he has prescribed more medication for him and I'm worried about his competence now. Jack is supposed to go back in a week for another check but I seriously doubt that I will go back there again. What do you think ? Any advice will be appreciated.

anniek - I'm sure Phoebe is missing Cowboy as you all are. I really love the photo of her in the ferns, they make her look like a dog with stripes I love that. ktig -Happy 1st Birthday Paddy he looks so cute in his birthday pictures, I don't know how he lasted so long not eating that cake. Sorry he had a sore leg even if mostly self-inflicted glad it is all better, we look forward to more happy shots. Snook – What an excellent picture of a happy, healthy, bouncing dog Justice looks in week 23 and then so sad looking out to go and play in week 24. helen - I really like your 'close up' perspective with the treat I think the photo really works. Snook - I think that your week 21 photo of Justice with Foxy in their matching hoodies is kinda sweet and I think you may have captured the stare in week 22, that you were after in week 20 it's a great shot, I really like week 22. anniek - Lovely to see Phoebe trotting across the paddock, it's a lovely photo of her and I'm sure we would all enjoy seeing a picture of Cowboy. Monet n Diva's Mum - Thanks for explaining about the lure I had no idea they were allowed to catch up to it. I like how you have changed your watermark it looks pretty good now I think. I think we are going to see a lot of dogs in their coats this winter, I do love to see how snug they look in their coats. Mine don't like them, I suppose they are inside dogs most of the time so they don't really need them. Hi everyone I'm a bit behind. I have had a very sad time with a family member falling ill and between the hospital and then funeral, time slipped away, but it was great to come and catch up with everyones photos again it brings back some happiness to come in here and share all the Easter shots, it's great to see all the different ways we get our dogs to agree to sit with ears or a bonnet on, or not at all for some. And I love all the creative and action photos everyone has posted. ktig - Paddington looks like he will enjoy he new tunnel and he looks so sweet in a pair of rabbit ears, he looks like such a character. anneik - Phoebe looks like she likes pink bonnets better than silver party hats and oh my she looks a tad 'vampire-ish' with the way she grabbed that sausage. KumaAkita - Kuma sure looks like he had fun with those bubbles and I love the way you got the shot of the way the water is trickleing off his tongue. tlc - Just love how you can get all four to look so good all the time and it was nice of you to share the 'One in every crowd" shot I loved it. Monet and Diva's Mum - What a great 'Brady Bunch' collection of photos and I just love all the action shots at the beach they are all so full of energy I really love the way their reflection shows up so well in one of the group beach shots. Thanks Snook and tlc for the birthday wishes. GregW - Zoe looks sleepy and comfortable all tucked up in bed. Then up bright and early and happy to greet the day. MrRedDog - Bella looks lost in her thoughts. KumaAika- I don't know another dog that likes to watch the cricket, he just looks so absorbed in the game. Tlc - Your guys all look so happy this week, like they are all smiling, I love it! ktig - Paddington is sure if those ducks come just a little bit closer he will be able to catch them. anniek - Poor Phoebe! I think she sure deserves to have her 'sad face' on after the week she has had, hope she is back to her old self this week and is feeling much better. Give her lots of cuddles. My week 8 photos are from our time at Woodgate beach, Dash really enjoyed it much more than Jack. Dash happily followed me into the water and had a paddle, but Jack decided he wanted to and run for home, well he thought he knew where he was going, he ran off the beach and over the road to the first house he saw. Thank heavens Woodgate is not a busy area and no cars were around, some lovely people heard my frantic screams and come to help try and catch him, once he saw them he decided he would come back over the road again to me. I don't know what possesed him, he has never done anything like this before, he is normally the calm not crazy one.Tthis was his first time off leash and his last. I am really behind in commenting so I think I will just do a quick sum up and start now. I have been away for a holiday so I haven't had time to post. So I see there's been a whole lotta week 7 fun, whether running with your best buddy, chasing a butterfly and meeting your new brother, to playing with paperbags and venturing up the ramp to the garden or even dressing up as a human and posing dutifully for your Valentines, there's been some beautiful and stunning photos, but Jess's leap for her ball is outstanding for a great action shot, what wonderful focus (including hers on the ball) and detail. Now onto week 8 TLC –.Love the B & W pic of Lacy and how she looks like she is laughing in the out take shot, her coat looks really silky and soft in the colour photos, I like the effect. Gazellehound – Nothing like a good shake to get rid of the bath water. annieK: Phoebe looks much happier catching some rays in her super sweet sunhat, or modeling roses, than on her ferry ride. Ktig - Paddington looks just as cute whether poking out his tongue or looking straight down the lens. Snook - Justice is so handsome, he had the best B & W valentine shot it would make a great card. Monet and Diva's mum – Juddy looks like he is growing fast, great to see his big sister loves him so much and loving the ears, and who doesn't like chilling on the couch. KumaAkita - What else is there but having fun with your best friend, looks like Kuma really enjoys his time playing with Sanchez. MrRedDog- I loved Bella's garden adventure last week ,good to see everyone has friends to play with. GregW- Zoe looks nice and relaxed having a bit of a nanna nap.

This is my favorite picture of Dash this week, playing with his favorite toy of the moment. I just love the way the blue from the toy reflects in his eyes. Jack as usual isn't impressed by the camera, but I managed to get a great shot of them together on the lounge. Dash is such a fast mover that most of my pictures are a blur or he has disappeared from the shot altogether. My link I agree that this is the best group ever to be in and I enjoy looking at everyones pictures every week. I havn't had time to comment individually yet, but I can assure everyone that I am loving all of the superb photography. As I am trying to learn how to use my camera, it is taking a lot of reading and trial and error. And on top of that I am still struggling with posting.;)

My link I hope I have finally worked out how to post my pictures in here and not just in flickr. These are my week 5 shots. Dash has been quite dissappointed that we have had so much rain the last couple of weeks, and I have been quite busy with other things. Well I still can't get the pictures to show in the post. Don't know why the show up in the preview.

Just love all the week 2 photos. I have had a hard week deciding on a picture as well, but I think mine are very amateur compared to some of the stunning photos in here. I love you photos pixie_meg and stonecutter I love how Ziva is just gazing out the window. I hope by the end of the year I can take some better pictures when I learn how to use my camera better. I am still having trouble attaching a link into my post.

I also have this problem with my dog Jack but if I say where's Boo Boo, which is my sister's dogs name, who he loves, then I can usually get a response. Still love the picture it's great, Lottie is a beautiful looking dog.
