  1. Yep, one is mine - good luck with the feral couch chewing bandit! He's obviously just helping with the housework
  2. Think I would be seeing pigs flying under a blue moon to be so lucky!!!
  3. Supply is still erratic and just heard last week (don't know how true) that it is going to be for supermarket sale, usually this means changes for the worst!
  4. Phone Rudducks on 8769 3200 to find stockists in your area.
  5. Try the Fuzzyard range or Nootie - they both have lovely fragrances and good quality.
  6. Masterpet still distribute the hamburger in a 4 piece combo pack with a hotdog, chop and chicken drumstick. So ask at pet supplies in your area if they stock Masterpet products.
  7. Just went to put my CC away in the file and noticed that they have put the wrong date on (it is stamped 21 Feb 2010!!)
  8. For when I am out walking the dog. Hmm, I haven't considered anything for yard duty. I have always just used an old shovel/spade haha Thanks for the suggestion. I believe this is what you are referring to? http://www.vetnpetdirect.com.au/pickapoo#P...;utm_medium=cpc It seems good, but is there a real life picture of it? Hi, haven't used them myself but have couple of customers that swear by them. Will have look on pack on Monday to see if dimensions are listed. Have you used it before? How big is it? (The size of the bag and the scoop) Thanks
  9. Have you seen "Pick-A-Poo" pack of 30 bags, ranging in price from about $4 through to $9 ($4.50 is about wholesale price)
  10. At this time of year he may be chasing cicadas, crickets and other crawlies that are under the surface. My old kelpie never digs during the cooler months but during summer you find "scratch patches" around the yard. May also be trying to find cooler soil to lay on to keep cool.
  11. I believe lavender is good deterent for a lot of insects.
  12. I've had 3 red & tan kelpies over the years and this looks very normal to me, it is just the dead coat coming away, keep up the brushing and a lot will come out with a good "scrub in the tub".
  13. I love the Ezydog collars.. the poodles got new ones for Christmas! I just got Kuma an EzyDog collar and have their limited slip one on back order. It's awesome... The neoprene is better on his ruff fur than others. Can those who don't like them explain what they don't like? Just curious... I was considering ordering a bungee lead but got the soft trainer instead, by the sounds of it I made the right decision. Again the neoprene handle is soft on my fingies! I feel that the collars are too thick and bulky with very little adjustment. Catches are good, and strong compared to some other brands, as is the neoprene lining for water resistance though.
  14. I love mine, had it for years, mine has the neoprene loop handle which is very comfortable, not the triangular hard one. I find it has minimal stretch (if any) and I walk my two kelpies on it with a coupler. The Ezydog harnesses are a great fit on most dogs too. Definitely don't think much of their collars though.
  15. Tried to catch you before you left to say thanks for help with swap over with my two but got caught as I was heading over to you by someone else, so thanks, much appreciated.
  16. The off-leash is a sectioned off area at the Ferntree Gully Rd end of the park where Knox Obedience is, they have closed off part of the park and put in some "agility style" equipment. Also take a stroll around Birdlands Reserve Tecoma (not off-leash but quite pleasant) and Alfred Nichols Gardens.
  17. They look like a Savic crate, I will look through my stockist catalogues on Tuesday and see if I can help. Hi, Looks like I can get them, will need to check price with sales rep when she is back on board but from what I have in my catalogue they would be $120 for a 76 cm (30") & $150 for a 91 cm (36"). Sway can point me out if need be. That would be great.

  19. congratulations Missymoo Congrats from the Aussies too, that's a nice end of year for you.
  20. What is she like with other visitors? Like some others have said she may be picking up on your vibes. I do find my Aussies get very excited when visitors come, especially my male, jumping and running around like crazy things but give them 5 minutes and they settle down and go about their business or if you sit down they tend to just lay down for a cuddle.
  21. Sad story, which could have been avoided. I had one of our grooming clients ring to cancel her dog's appointment, I asked if would like to reschedule but she said the dog had been killed. As it was a young dog I was taken aback and, of course, asked what happened. She was driving along the Monash freeway with her driver side window open, the dog was in the back seat but unrestrained, it put its head over the back of her seat and out the window, next thing she knew it had fallen out the window at 100 kph!! When she stopped and ran back it did try to get up but only the front legs could move, it laid back down and passed away, other motorists stopped to helped her but nothing could be done So remember to restrain your dogs in the car (I believe this is actually law now in Vic, can someone confirm) especially in the hot weather when we do often drive with windows down.
