OK im doing the 2x2 training still :dohh: and how do i get raz to know which way to go through the poles? when i try shaping if he is on the wrong side he enters from the wrong side, i have to move him to the correct end i cant tell if its me being a bad trainer of if raz is just not getting it Like in the 2x2 vid the lady is standing at the last pole and the dog is running to the start and through and bak to her, raz doesnt run round to the start

well im free on the 6th feb, and i think nudgee might be a good idea? not the dog park but the main beach part, when the tides out there is heaps of room to run :D unless you have runaway dogs and would prefer the off leash park

FYI you can get koolies with long coats :D however i wouldnt recommend a koolie, though they are happy to relax, if i go 1 day without exercise he can get a bit annoying from boredom, my koolie needs mental stimulation even if im not walking him

anyone in/from karalee area know anything about carlock promenade?? are they under, we cant contact my parents in law edited, ok they are still above the water line, looks like they might be stuck with no power, but safe

anyone know the status of karalee? out ipswich way, my parents in laws street is on the streets to be affected list, i was just wondering if karalee was under yet?

if you want to pay a bit extra, bark royale pet boutique at nerang is quite good, they have luxury and regular suites, they go out twice a day, and u can pay more for a group play (not on the first visit though) and they do bush walks, swimming lessons and trips to the beach. I did find out that their play time in the morning and arvo is approx 10 mins, though when its not busy i think its up to 1/2 an hour. having a working dog breed, i decided that place wasnt for me, he needs more than 20 mins a day to play. but i would definatly take a dog of mine that was quieter and didnt require so much exercise. the place is very clean and the pple are very friendly

ruby, im terrified of bees and wasps too!! and horseflies as i found out today, i looked like a crazy lady at the dog park trying to get a horsefly to leave me alone :D you all sound like you are making such good progress with your weaves and training. I think im at the point with raz on the 2o2o where i need to practise on the actual dog walk now. havent done any weaves for a while, been to wet might have to try it tomorrow if the sun makes an appearance

raz had a cut paw, like the top layer had come off and it looked red raw, i put betadine on it (he didnt like that) and i taped some gauze on, it lasted maybe 4 hours, after that i just left it, and kept it clean and it healed in its own time the foot is a hard area to look after

what i would do is stop feeding dinner, and only reward when the pup is looking at me, have his dinner biscuits handy and during the day do short 10 sec sessions and reward with his dinner biscuits, he will soon learn that to look at you is really worth it like everyone else has said though he is only a baby, i prob wouldnt have even started my clicker training that young, i started that when my boy was 3-4 months old just play with pup and enjoy the baby stage, its over way to quick IMO

Ok so im going to that k9pro training in drive seminar, do you think that training in drive will help with agility? (just curious)

just wondering if there are any openings left? any cabins left? or possible share cabins?

i pat my dog while he eats so that he wont have food issues, however that said, im not dumb enough to let a child play with him while he is, he will be locked securely in his crate away from pesky children (when the time comes)
