Yeah, it was about time there is Happy News about Charlie

Yes,I understand,diet starts today on a tablespoon of Hills Sciece....60 little pebbles!I did buy some barf Kangaroo rolls,surely she can have a table spoon now and then.I'm going to ask if I should put Glucodin in her water.Front desk at Vets said,you could really get the weight down fast by giving cabbage cooked in beef cubes,she would starve because there is no way she'd eat that. Serious?! They told you to do that? I've never heard that before! haha

It's the best news I heard about Charlie in a very long time... I'm soooo happy. Even the rain (which I hate) isn't effecting this awesome news. I really do love my dogs! And I love that they love each other and helping each other out too (even if they don't know it!)

EMMY!! That's what the specialist said!! Charlie was suppose to have an xray today but they were impressed and very pleased on how Charlie is. The best they've seen him in a very long time. His back and back legs are stronger, he is in no pain and despite having a bad week a few weeks ago... he bounced back faster than usual. They think that has to do with Emmy. She makes him WANT to be more active, and the more his moves around, the more his muscles gets stronger and the more stronger he gets.

First off... Chill. Relax. I started to get stress for you reading your post!! This is fixable and managable Remember dogs are excellent at picking up moods and energy, so if you are always stress... so is your dog! My boy has HD and can't be operated on.. so the most important thing for me to look out for is weight. So it's time to put your dog on a diet... like the others suggested, just half the meal everyday. NO treats till the weight is under control. Exercise is important too. Like some light walking everyday or swimming is best. It builds muscles and put pressure off the joints. If in doubt, you can ask to see a specialist... but I reckon the first thing they will tell you is to put your pup on a diet.

This applies for Emmy. Charlie had C3 at 8, 12 and 16 weeks.

I vote no. Although i have a friend who has a APBT and registered him as Amstaff.

The only condition I got from Emmy's breeder is because I'm buying her for a pet, Emmy is sold on limited registered and on the condition that I get the desexed asap. I have no problem with this condition because I was going to get her desexed anyway. Although, I did have a choice of buying her on main registration, if I had interested in showing and breeding her. She is a show quality dog.

A sense of family. Charlie made the boyfriend and I closer and we were a tight knit family. Emmy came into the picture and cemented the family, bringing us the extra joy and energy into the family that we needed (but not realise how much!)

Mason is not too drowsy, he is sleeping more than normal but when he is awake he seems fine. They are ones like Fexo and Loratidine (I work at a pharmacy remember :D ) but since Toby only gets allergies badly for a couple of weeks when seasons change and even then he dosen't need them everyday even then it isn't a huge problem for me. Thats how Mason's started when he was that age, hopefully Toby's dont get worse, I think the name is Zyrtec or something like that ( cant find the paper I wrote it down on now ) Charlie was on zyrtec once for allergies. he was fine. he still went for his walks.

Getting out of the shower can be an adventure. Charlie likes to lay on the rug and waits while I have a shower... well since Miss Em came along, she has claim the bathroom as her area (Charlie has a spot in the living room by the sliding windows), and so she insist that rug in hers (doesn't matter that we've set up a little bed in there for her AND we have another rug in that bathroom). They will play from the moment I get in the shower till I get out of the shower.. then they fight on who gets to lick my leg first *sigh* In Charlie's crate. They are taking turn jumping in and out of crate while pouncing and launching at each other. At any doorway because they like waiting for each other, when one comes near, Emmy will either pounce on Charlie or Charlie will hit Emmy with a toy that's in his mouth. Which starts their playing at the spot.

being toying around about joining for a long while now... but i joined yesterday too my boyfriend told me last night how he thinks DOL is an amazing community and how MDBA Pacers are angels!
