I've never heard of packages before to desex a puppy! What a rip. From what I understand, each vet have their own way of how they desex animals. You just have to find the one that you feel most comfortable with.

Hey, i have one for Charlie... I bought it cheaply off Deal Direct. There is a electrical plug that you plug in, let it get warm and then unplug it. It remains warm for a few hours. I'm sure it would works really well (the boyfriend and I have tested it out ourselves) but Charlie doesn't use it. He sleeps on the bed and when it gets really cold, he buries himself under the spare blanket we have on the bed for the dogs.

Why were you only taking one for a walk?

Emmy has tear stain around her eyes and mouth. It's not bad or anything, the vet said that it's normal and Emmy is 100% healthy, but is there a way of me to get rid of them? it's not as dark as this anymore though (this was taking at 9 weeks old) but the stain is still there.

Charlie gets a mini magnum to himself (the boyfriend or I have to eat the chocolate around it first, of course)... every time he comes home from a vet visit... so he knows he doesn't have to try steal food from us. We are lucky we can leave plates and bowls of food around the house and he won't touch it. Miss Em is a different story... she stole the boyfriend's cookie from him on the weekend. the boyfriend was in the middle of taking a bite, she jumped up and took it away from him. She likes learning rules the hard way

Charlie is... he is always up to learn new things and face new challenges. He is stubborn too, so he will work at it till he gets it. When I first taught him how to play Search... he wouldn't give up till he found every single treat I had hiding around the room. Even if I tell him, that it's over.. he will still have his nose on the ground searching. Teaching him new tricks and doing training with him was always very fun and very easy. Emmy, being a puppy, everything is new to her. But, I got to get creative training her because she has no attention span and I got to keep things entertaining for her to continue with the training. We are still working things how to find the best method to train her though. She is very clever though. Picks things up first go!

My boy is a picky eater and didn't like any dry dog food either... we found out his like Hills but only if we leave it out for a day or two.. so it doesn't smell so much.

Thanks everyone Cynthia... I am over the moon!! I haven't stopped grinning today. I haven't watched tv properly since I got Emmy, because Charlie and Emmy are much more interesting to watch!! (not to mention, i usually cant hear the tv over their play growls and barks.. they are very loud!) I knew that Emmy would be new energy into the family but who would of thought she would end up being a therapy dog too. Not just for Charlie, but for the boyfriend and myself too.

Yeah, for sure! I knew he would love to have company but it was very very hard to find the right pup for him. Glad that Emmy came along, she is everything we wanted and wished for and much much more.

Right now, my female puppy doesn't go toilet in public (despite she is getting trained going on command)... but that's because she is too busy with everything and forget to go to the toilet.
