I've taken Charlie camping he loves it because he loves exploring. We packed LOTS of towels, his camping crate with some toys, made sure his vacs were all up to date, extra blankets and his own water bowl. Charlie sleeps with us on the air mattress. Also a long rope because we tied him (when he wasn't crated).

We give Emmy ginger tablet.. she has car sickness. Poodlefan gave really good advice Emmy doesn't like the car but she will go in it because she knows we're going somewhere fun. we have the window down, drive about 10ks under the limit and she sits in her booster seat so she can see outside.

Lacy And Tully And Thier Quest To Become Delta Dogs

congrates!!!! go Lacy and Tully!!!! good luck Shell and Zero! -
Is chicken frame basically the chicken bone carcass? I've been curious about that. Also, I wanted to give Elbie carrots, too but heard that they (like everything it seems!!?) had some shortcomings? Yep... I cut a whole chicken frame in half.. give one half to Charlie and the other half to Emmy. They love it. I give Emmy carrot frozen.. she doesn't eat it, but she chomps on it and then spit it out. She's teething at the moment, so anything hard and cold she can chomp on, she's happy

chicken wings, chicken neck, lamb flaps, chicken frame, bone marrow, turkey neck (you can cut it in half because they are huge.. although I give a whole one to Emmy because it would take her longer to finish)... i think these are the main ones I give to my 2. I also give Emmy frozen carrots to chew on.. that takes her a while too.

I was told it doesn't take them till 6 months and older to fully control their bladder... but every pup is different. Some pups gets toilet training quicker than others :p

Meal In The Morning Or Evening Best?
W Sibs replied to loulouB's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Charlie eats in the evening.. I give him a bone or a small frozen chicken neck or half a chicken wing in the morning or a snack though. -
Charlie is still the same after he got desexed

I have wondered how different the human stuff is? Well good news I just tried the goats milk, literally it's quite yummy!! And Cooper thought so too It was touch and go he took a slurp and then walked away but I coaxed him back and he drank it all it was only about 1/4 of a cup full, and he was licking the bottom of the bowl for more so I think we may have found a winner. He is really weird at times he will look at something but not have a bar of it but if I put a bit of it in his mouth and he gets a taste of it, then he will eat it I did try that with the fish for dogs but no way and I ended up with a big sticky stinky fishy . Awesome. Goat milks taste better than cow milk. Charlie and Cooper can be twins when it comes to being fussy, I reckon. Charlie is unpredictable when it comes to food... sometimes he likes it and sometimes he won't.

Charlie is a mama's boy. Before and after we got Emmy. As much as he loves his little sister, he will follow me more. But, he is much more happier having Emmy around though. Sometimes dogs just wants to play with dogs (there is no chance in hell would i play bitey face with Charlie :D ) and do doggie stuff together (like exploring in the backyard together, study bugs together, gang up together to try catch a bird etc) I was never worried if Charlie will like the puppy because I knew he would. He loves puppies, so he accepted Emmy straight away and Emmy loved Charlie at sight. I'm always going to have a 2 dog household. Before getting a second dog.. you have to ask yourself, will you be able to give 2 dogs equal attention and fulfill their individual needs? Are you fulfilling your currents dog needs now?

Some light walking on the grass area... I would break it up if Cooper likes running. Like, let him run for 10 minutes, and let him rest for about 5-10 minutes, run again for 10 minutes, and then rest for 5-10 minutes. Our walks is about 1 hour long, but i would say about 30min is actual walk and other 30 minutes is resting.. :D I do this with Charlie.. he loves his walks, so we walk for 10 minutes, then we sit somewhere for about 10-15 minutes watching the scenery (or do some trick training).. then continue on the walks. Avoid hills and steps, because that's puts too much pressure on joints. Also, avoid uneven surfaces (like sand, gravels etc). I watch Charlie's body language and go with my gut feeling when Charlie has enough. He will slow down a little bit and gets a slight limp.. that's when I pick him up and carrying him, or it's time to go home. But, he is pretty good on letting me know he has enough because he asked to be carried. Swimming is good too

Methinks we spoil our dogs a bit CW EW. ;) Maybe just a tiny little bit :D Goats milk doesn't taste that bad.. I prefer it over cow milk (but I'm been having a lot of low fat milk lately)

Can you just buy goats milk in the supermarket? Sometimes I see it at Woolies/Coles and sometimes I don't... just have a look. My parents usually gets goat milk through work (they work in the food industry - both are chefs).

was going to suggest goat milk too

My two sleeps on the bed. In summer Charlie moves to the bed on the floor.. the furthest he slept away from the bed was in the ensuite bathroom on the tiles. I think Emmy will move to the floor in summer too.

You know your pup best.. do you think she can handle it? I'll be taking Emmy to 2 classes but I know she can handle it. Emmy is currently doing a K9 College and she will be starting proper obedience after she gets desexed.

:p that's so cute

Emmy likes to lay on my back and wait till I wake up... after she goes outside to do her business, she jumps on the bed and climb on my back and lays down and waits till I wake up.. she pokes her nose on my cheek once in a while to see if my eyes are open... if i ignore her, she puts her head down by my shoulder and patiently waits till I do... if i have my eyes open, she crawls up closer and gives me morning kisses.
