For a person who has been annoyed with people not picking up their dogs lately... that's a good read

Hip hip hooray Daisy!!! Love hearing about your adventures!!

My 2 bark and growl when they play together... It's like kids playing with their screaming, laughing and yelling. I don't think that's a lot of barking they do either...

How To Tell Tell Off Other Peoples Dogs
W Sibs replied to LoveMyLabEva's topic in General Dog Discussion
The first time, I would be polite about and take my pup away but the second time, I would grab the other dog and wait till the owner comes and get the dog, and tell the owner to keep her dog on the leash if she can't control her dog -
I wouldn't suggest basenji to them... the basenji I've met are too much for a 10 years old (no matter how dog savvy they are). I would stick to the Cavvies, shih tzu, pug type of dogs... if the fur it too much, just get them clipped. Or even a miniature poodle.

Do you mean Charlie? Yeah... it's one of his nicknames. Lately he is being called Chuck, Chucky or Chuckster... we go to training and there are few other Charlie's in the class, and so I started calling him that.

Is My Puppy Afraid Of Other Puppies? - Baxter Update!
W Sibs replied to New puppy's topic in Puppy Chat
that's awesome news :p go baxter!!! -
Heart dog is the dog you know you will never forget and will be talking about for the rest of your life... the one you think about and makes you smile... the one that has changed your life and made is just a bit better and special... the one you will miss most when you're away... the one you go to when you need to be cheered up... My Chuckster has left a mark on my heart and claim it to be forever his.

Agree with what the other said... Shivering can also mean stress, pain, anxiety.
-
Charlie and Emmy does this too... poor Emmy, she usually forgets where she hides her things though and needs helps to find it. Nekhbet... Charlie is the same. Digs on carpet and apparently a tiny torn piece of tissue is going to cover a pig eat that's as big as his head

Really Worried About Rover :( Healing Vibes Needed
W Sibs replied to lovemesideways's topic in General Dog Discussion
OMG!!! Sending massive healing vibes!!! to you too. Take him straight to the vets... if they see how bad he is, they will work on him straight away instead of making you wait!! GO GO GO!!! I know this with Charlie.. they saw how much pain he was, they took him straight to the back and gave him something before we went to talk to the vets. Or go to emergency hospital!! -
Hey, There is NDTF (National Dog Training Federation). I'm currently doing that long distance. NDTF

Dog is making physical contact with handler who uses his leg to guide the dog at one point. Too damn tight!!! That dogs neck is in a very unnatural position imo. Why do the dogs have to be looking up at the handler? Why can't they look ahead? Surely they can still take direction when looking ahead? Do you lose points if the dogs isn't staring adoringly up at you? Dog is focusing on handler to get the next cue/command.

He was very rude but I don't see him doing anything wrong to be reported. He did give you the heads up.

I'll follow with Charlie and Emmy!! I get accused by people I know of not letting my puppies be puppies/dogs and because of the training we do. But, at the end of the day, my dogs are the one that gets invited to picnics, bbq, camping etc because they are well behaved, whereas they don't trust their dogs to do that or they will get embrassed if they took their dog out in public.

that is too funny

Awww... not sure if it's bad, but i think it's really cute I didn't realise they are training me! OMG, they are soo sneaky! It's adorable I think it's sweet because Emmy is so gentle about it, and usually she isn't gentle about anything... and I'm all about rewarding her being cute, sweet and friendly. If she wants my attention, I like that she does it this way (better then her previous way of launching herself on me going full speed). Charlie is a goof when I take the toy off him :D He has this funny grin, and he does his little hoppy thing... Yep, this is Charlie too!
-
.. that's how my 2 want to get each others attention. They full bitch slap each other and nudge each other. You know, typical sibling thing... Charlie likes using a toy to hit Emmy too... but they don't do that with me.
-
Ever since I got Emmy... she has done this really cute thing (one of thousands... haha!). What she does is, when I come home, and she settles down.. she comes and sits in front of me, her body all relaxed, her ears back and she offers me her paws while giving me her puppy dogs eyes. I shake her paw and give her a cuddle. But, I always wonder what does it mean? Charlie is a toy giver... whenever he happy to see me, he grabs a toy/object on the floor and offers it to me, and gets all excited when I take it off him and say Thank you. I don't know what that means either, but I think it's very cute. Any idea Dolers?
-
first off... ewww. Charlie once bit into a snail and spat it out and never went close to one ever again. Whereas Emmy likes poking them with her nose and make them roll around...
-
Charlie use to lay on top of Emmy when Emmy was more little to calm her down... it was the only way he can get her to stop moving I think she use to make him dizzy. Emmy sits on my feet but I think it's a comfort thing. If she is a little unsure of something, she comes to me and sit on my feet and leans against me. She does the same with Charlie if I'm not around. She leans against Charlie when she is unsure. She isnt allow to sit on Charlie.
