We are hoping that it will be less than 12 weeks for the shep. The guy has had a marriage break up and left his two dogs with friends until he could find a dog friendly accommodation but the people minding them shot one.[no good reason and its been reported ] So he is living in the Coogee area and is deperate to have someone look after the dog or will have no choice but to hand it over to rescue. He loves her to bits and really wants to keep her but has put his job on the line now to drive 600 kilometres to pick her up. The Albury [ two little dogs] one is a challenge because they need to stay as close to Albury as possible. Dallas has them at the moment but needs to move them on asap. We have had the grey in Sydney in foster care also and its been a perfect dog but the foster carer needs a break. The owner has been visiting this one and taking it home sometimes for sleep overs so if possible the Ryde area in Sydney would be a good thing if we could. If not we will have to consider moving them out to other areas especially the shep because that one is really urgent. How long does the Grey need to be cared for? Does he/she get along with small dogs?

CW its actually against CC rules to show a dog with an illness. The dog really shouldn't have been on the grounds. oh what a stupid owner.

I'm glad that the judge has no serious injury.. I don't know much about showing.. but I think it's wrong to show a dog who's isn't feeling well. Are those points really worth it?

No words Just praying and thinking about Chase, you and your OH.

basically: any noise any scent any movement can be a distraction for a dog.

Aww... Emmy is awesome I have met several very DA Japanese Spitz too. But, I think it's due to bad/inexperience owners though (most dogs can be DA if they are in the hand of bad/inexperience owners). Don't let the cute fluff fool you!!!! JS are very intelligent and very willful.. they are big dogs in little bodies! JS do need a firm hand and need to be properly socialised from the beginning, and of course, they need training.

I have a booster chairs for my 2 similiar to this

love this thread Emmy is up at the crack of dawn... she politely takes herself outside to do her business. Jumps back on the bed, climb on to and checks if I'm still sleeping or not. If my eyes are close, she will either sleep on me or gets off me and curl up right beside me and waits for me to wake up. If my eyes are open, she gets all excited and cuddlely where she will turn to her back and press her body against mine for cuddles. Charlie... well... in winter, he is near impossible to wake him up. It's better in warmer seasons, he doesn't give me evils when i tell them to get out of bed.. he just grumbles a little but will move.

that's awesome news!!! still thinking about you and chase!!

Awesome breed! When we got Emmy home... I took Monday - Wednesday off and the boyfriend took Thursday and Friday off to spend time with our little girl (and supervise her with our first pup). Can you go to a Dog Shows to talk to breeders and meet with some Japanese Spitz? Like all dogs, Jap Spitz will get along with other dogs and people if they are socialised properly at a young age. I don't see a problem with your future pup getting along with your older dogs. How are your old dogs around puppies? As for grooming, I find Emmy very easy to groom compare to my Cavalier x. They can be vocal (and dramatic) about things... so it's very important to keep them busy.

Sending healing vibes to Lily. Hope she gets better soon. -
Ohhh... he is such a cutie!!!! I've started to have a real liking to this breed now since working with an Aussie Terrier on my NDTF training. The little girl's name is Paya and she was a little pocket rocket who was as very smart and sweet. I wanted to take her home!!!!

Timmy sounds like quite the character!!! -
One fly can entertain Charlie and Emmy for a very long time... Emmy likes moths too. Charlie likes lizards better because he doesn't have to jump!!

You need wheatens! They are happy to see you if you've just gone to the letter box lol! it's an on going joke at home... that my dogs are never excited to see me, but if it's anyone else, the dogs are all over them like a rash.
