Because I Was Asked In Another Topic:
W Sibs replied to Loving my Oldies's topic in General Dog Discussion
Mr W will take them, if we both die... Emmy and Skeeter will go to my brother-in-law. He loves them nearly as much as Mr W and I do... -
This. Bless to have a husband who loves the dogs as much as I do and see the dogs as family too.

Sorry to hear this. RIP Tip

Love the weird names but my crew have normal name, only thing weird about their names are they all have W starting middle names. They don't even have weird nicknames..

Just Loving Our Puppy To Bits ! :)

 too cute for words -
I think you need to get a trainer in, because the sound of it, you both need some training. Teenage stage for you! She is going to test and push the boundaries now, and unfortunately, she will not out grow this behaviour, if this behaviour is not dealt with. Good luck. I also have a 10 month old Samoyed who has hit the teenage phase too... it's going to be one hell of a ride :)

Things That My Dogs Do To Cheer Me Up... Or Not

I get the exact same reaction....when I get back from the letterbox  Same  -
Emmy, the air head ditz, and Skeeter, the Samoyed pup who has yet grown any brain cells, means well when they try to cheer me up. Really they do... When I'm feeling sad, Emmy will come and give me cuddles or in most cases she makes you cuddle her. She mirrors my emotions, so if I'm sad then she is sad, so I end up comforting her because I made her sad. Whereas Skeeter doesn't believe in sad, so he will jump on me and hold me down while he gives me kisses (he is 23kgs and is a big puppy) because Skeeter kisses makes everything better and if that doesn't work, he will hit me with a toy because instead of being sad, I should play with him. Playing is always happy time. I wouldn't complain if the toy was one of those soft plush toys but it's usually the hard rubber toys or a thick tug toy rope toy that leave bruises and bumps. I confess that sometimes when I want to have a good cry, I go hide from them or else I'll get attacked by the 2 white fluffies  I love them, I will be a mess and lost without either one of them. What does you dogs do to cheer you up (or not)?

I would get Skeeter to do this but I don't think he is old enough or will pass the temp test. He is a bit crazy and noisy, and he is bit too excited still and even though he loves kids and is crate/mate trained. Knowing him, he will probably want to read the book to the kid instead of the kid reading to him... But I've passed it on to a few Samoyed people I know that have pretty chilled Samoyed and will be great to do the job.

Happy birthday Sally :)

First thing I will do is get him medically checked to see everything is ok

I have 2 dogs. A week ago, it was 3. Em is 3 years old and Skeeter is 10 months old. I think I'll sticking with 2 for a while. I will like Skeeter to grow a few more brain cell before getting another puppy or dog into my mad house.

Skeeter is definitely a character... He is the sweetest fella with no mean bone in his body. A gentle giant (he just doesn't realise he is a giant!)

fingers cross that's what is it too.. that's it's healing

Skeeter, my 10 month old Samoyed, is just a quirky guy! His main thing is that he like rearranging furniture. I have seen him drag the coffee table out of the living room and put it in the middle of the dining room. When he was about 12 weeks old, we heard him barking and found that he was pulling one of the dog bed through the doggie door and it got stuck and he was telling it off. Oh, when he gives you cuddles or wants a cuddle he will sits with his back towards you but touching you as much as he can and will tilt his back backwards till his head touches you. So you have to reach over and cuddle him, and the bigger the squeeze you give him the better he loves. He is a sweetheart. When his eats bones, Skeeter hates getting his paws dirty so he will not hold his food to eat. If he has too, he will go wash his paw in the water bowl. Emmy, my Jap Spitz, likes to swipe her face after she eats too. Especially if she had fish. She always sits on the highest point of the house if she could, so she is often camped out on top of the couch looking down at things.

The story behind Charlie's and the rest of my crew name is... As soon as I got Charlie, I knew that his name had to be Charlie but Charlie was such a common name that I wanted to give it more of a formal name so after playing around with names, Charles Wentworth got stuck. Emmy's formal name is Emmaline Winchester. I likes the name Emmaline (very sweet, girlie and bit old fashion) and Winchester was named after a gun. Which make sense cause Emmy is a little white bullet when she does her zoomies. Skeeter full name is Skeeter Wilkins. I just like the name Skeeter. Because Charlie and Emmy has a W middle name, of course Skeeter has to get one too :)
