My girl wakes up and runs to the backyard to tell the world that she's awake and that everyone should wake up too! This goes for 5 seconds, then runs inside again to check if anyone else is awake. She is very good at keeping quiet when no one is awake yet. She knows she's not allow to wake anyone up.. Charlie (my other dog) told her off once as a puppy, and she doesn't bother him in the morning anymore. If she gets annoying, she gets put on the floor and is ignored. She gets plenty of cuddles and attention when we wake up though.

My old husky use to do this... I use to get so worried that I will dump a bucket of water on her. Crazy. Charlie is loving the very hot weather. He is always outside hunting lizards and taking naps. I go outside and spray him with the hose... he is not impress when I do that to him. It's worst now because I gave him a fur cut , so he wants to stay out more.

Oh, I bought a lot of baby name books home... my mum got all excited when she saw them. I had to break it down to her gently that she wasn't getting a grandchild from me any day soon... -
Those irresponsible owners gives me the shits... especially when I own 2 small dogs and I will never ever let them behave like that. It's dangerous, rude and incredibly stupid... It's gives other small dog owners bad name

Charlie is known as Chucky... this came about when he was doing his Canine Good Citizen and there was 2 other Charlie. It got confusing, so I started to call him Chucky or Chuck. Emmy gets call Em or Ditz. -

My dad's 2 favourite dogs names are Vietnamese swear words :D He said that they were hell to train and gave him soo much trouble that it's the only thing that call them, and it was the only thing they answered too. My mum was not impressed when my sister and I (we were really young when my dad had these dogs) will be calling the dogs names so we can play with them. -
# Excessive panting # Pale gums, bright red tongue # Disorientation and your dog doesn't respond to his name # Increased heart rate # Thick saliva # Vomiting # Breathing difficulties # Collapse I will call the vets and talk to them about it.

You know.... Charlie is actually a very popular dog name. Every second or third dog I meet is name Charlie! That's how the surname came in place.. I wanted to give him a unique sort of name and threw in the surname! -

When people have a dig at me for my dog's name (Pancake) I just stare at them and say - well she was born as flat as a pancake and almost died! Shuts them up real fast I had a rooster named after a randy old politician and a chook named after a prostitute. My animals so I'll name them whatever I want. Besides it really suited them because they were always at it. :D :D -

They were rude!! When they made that comment, my first thing that came out of my mouth was 'Well, that was rude, wasn't it?' Made them shut up. They want their kids to have unique and one of a kind names. My friend is like this, I can't pronounce their kids name nor spell it. I really like old fashion English name too!!. I love the name Howard (Howie) but I haven't got a dog that suit that name. Yet. -

From whom? Let me guess.. another of the "they're just dogs" brigade? Ignore them. Not from family and friends, Charlie and Emmy all considered as family now. Poodlefan.. pretty much!! Sitting at the waiting room yesterday for Charlie's appointment... there was a couple there and we were talking, and their dogs name was Storm and Banjo, and I told them my dogs name. the lady's first reaction was 'oh, you're one of those small dog owner, aren't you?' and her partner was like 'why the hell do people give their dogs human names for?' -

Just playing and it's normal. If it does get too much... just take the dog out of the situation so your very cute puppy can calm down
