I know a fair few people who goes to Hills (and are trainer there). They are really good club. I don't have Monday night free to attend OB at Hills. Sydeny All Breeds have their classes early mornings on weekends. I use to take my boy, Charlie, to Sydney All Breeds and we both enjoyed going to that club :) Just go to the clubs and see how they are. Get the feel for it and see which one suits you better.

My little girl went through a stage of car sickness and now she has outgrown it now. We found out that crating her in crate really helps and also having the window down. We had a booster chair for her that she feels safe in and also she get to look out of the window.

Emmy - JS She is very territorial and she has ran a few people out of the house a few times So, I honestly don't know if she will bite or not if I'm not there. But, she will try her hardest for people not to go into house whether I'm there or not. I'm not entirely sure if she will protect me though, just because I'm usually the one that protects her from strangers. I've never been in a position where she had the need to protect me. Skeeter - Samoyed He is still young, easy going and funny fella. But, I have seen him in guard mode a few times. Usually late at night when he hears something outside that's not familiar... he has a really deep growl and bark that send shiver down my spine. One time, he did that and came sat on me and staring intensely at the window. I have a feeling that my boy will protect me if anyone will hurt me. But it's not in his genes to hurt anyone at all. I love that he is a gentle giant. I mean, he barks at flys if they land on his treat till they go away instead of going over to get the treat.

How Do You Know If Your Puppy Is Cold?
W Sibs replied to andrewang's topic in General Dog Discussion
I own a Samoyed and Japanese Spitz and the colder it is, the more hyper they are. They love the cold. Now that we are in our new house, on the colder days, the kid will go sleep outside on the deck. My Japanese Spitz will coat does get thicker and longer in winter. When my boy, Charlie, was around.. he will steal the electric blanket and rug, in fact, he will steal all blankets, pillows, cusion etc. He will sleep on the bed more or curl himself tightly in a ball. He usually had a coat or jumper on throughout winter. -
too cute for words :)

She is beautiful

 Could be, nothing sticks to Skeeter's or Emmy's coat, they don't smell (if they get wet, they smell like their shampoo)... no matter how dirty Skeeter or Emmy get, I wait till their dry, wipe them down with a towel and they back being white again.
-
No grass stains on my dogs either... I remember Charlie gets grass stain easily. I think it depends on the fur

 having a black dog is handy, although I can tell you that sometimes (especially after a raining day).. I come home to a black Samoyed.
-
 Yeah, I know it's time to give Emmy a bath when people ask 'I didn't know Japanese Spitz came in cream too'.. which is bad because Skeeter is a white samoyed, not a cream samoyed

Glad to hear that you reported the incident and that the rangers were understanding about the situation. Hopefully the older girl will do something about it, despite the father being stubborn. It was just a matter of time before something more serious will happen. Forgot to say, glad you weren't seriously hurt with the attack.
-
 maybe we can tell they are dirty because we know we haven't given them a bath I stress about the vet too, especially when I had Charlie. No matter how much I groom him, he can look like a stray dog within 5 minutes we leave the house.
-
Skeeter doesn't give them a chance to ask if they could pat him.. he is already poking them for pats. People say they are scared to get Skeeter or Emmy dirty, I often say 'Don't worry about it, Skeeter always gets himself dirty, as well as Emmy, without anyone help'
-
 thanks :D
-
 I do the same. I usually say 'they are usually whiter than this'
-
That whenever I walked Skeeter and Emmy and they are dirty, messy and basically look unloved they get a lot of compliments on how white they are, how great they are looking and they are stunning looking dogs BUT when I take them after giving them a bath and properly groom them, they get no compliments at all.. in fact, people often ignore them. I don't get it but I do find it funny.

I wouldn't think so... sounds like he is just being a typical 12 weeks old puppy :)
-
If you're going on holiday, the pup deserves a holiday too :p In all honesty, 2 weeks won't do much damage to the pup's training if they already have a strong foundation. Puppies will forget, but you can get them back on track in no time :) If you could, leave the dogs at home together with a family member and not go to a kennel. It's still young and probably be more comfortable around familiar surrounding and people.

Wow, that's scary. Yes, if that was me, I will report it. That dog attack again and it could be a kid and can do serious damage
-
When Charlie was a puppy, a man offered to pay large sum of money for Charlie... scared the hell out of me because he was dead serious. People do often ask me if they could have Skeeter but not to swap him for anything.. I feel a bit jipped now

Just went to petbarn and got one :)

Happy birthday Stan!

Like the others said.. call up the breeder and have a chat with them. Honestly, whether you asked the wrong or right question, something isn't right between the breeder and you and if you still want the pup.. best to talk it out and clear the air. Good luck
