  1. Charlie doesn't mind the rain... BUT, when he comes into the house it a different story. he realise he is wet, then throws a tantrum till someone gets him a towel, as soon as we put the towel on the floor, he will sit there still giving us a sad look as though saying 'mummy, i'm wet. i don't like it'.. while i dry him off..
  2. wow.. good thing Echo can run fast!! EVIL!
  3. Charlie Mr Cool Calm and Collected... nothing phases him.
  4. Charlie hates the new chew ones too. I have to break it in half for him and shove it down his thoart. If I known I had to do that, I would of just got the tablet one.
  5. Awww.. Katie is adorable! I love the shot of Kibah scrapping every bit of the watermelon off too! Charlie is a huge fruit fan. Will pick fruit over meat or bone, paws down. His favorite is manadrins and oranges.
  6. I joined this thread when I got Charlie. My first ever puppy. I'm a proud addicted to this forum too!! I always learn something new each time I come on. The people on the forum are awesome too
  7. I'm always open for negotiations...
  8. Actually Cavs are good alarm dogs!!! Charlie (my cav x) will let everyone know if someone comes to the door. Nobody uses the doorbell anymore or even knock! I was actually thinking CKCS too. They are the most easiest, friendliest and most placid breed, I know!!
  9. thanks for the suggestion everyone :D i will ring the club and have a chat with them. Also, start arranging some play dates with Charlie, as well
  10. ME!!!! I get to meet the mysterious Troy! and everyone else there :D
  11. Will have to talk to the club :D Yeah, I do miss it. Charlie and I always had a great time at obedience (despite him known to be sleeping in class because we do the early morning session ), I'm just worried that he is getting bored at home. He is getting better, and I feel that he needs to get out more..
  12. Hi Kris, Could it be he is hitting his rebellious stage? 6 months is hitting their adolescant stage. Crazy teenagers!! And, yes, a male dog behaviour will change around a female dog in heat. They can smell it from a long distance and if Tuk is not desex, he will try to get to her.
  13. yeah, that's true. i haven't even thought about that!
  14. if the pup has a broken bone.. it would take more than 3 weeks to heal. Do you think it would be bad if i stopped in at the vet ER and asked about the injury/cost ? Would they even give me any details ?? I wouldn't want the neighbours to know i went behind their back though. I don't really want to ask to view the bill direct from the neighbours. i don't think the vets will give you those details.

  16. No free play or off leash socialisation. Dogs are allow to sniff each other, but they aren't allow to go off leash (unless training). Good point!
  17. Being thinking about putting Charlie back into Obedience training. Just something he can do once a week. He went up to Class 3 before he got sick. He can do everything except jumping or running. But, at home, we work on his heeling, his sits, stays, drop etc. His back isn't 100% (and probably never ever will), but he is getting stronger each day. He goes for 2x 10 minutes walk everyday. Is that a good idea or bad idea? I admit, I want to take him to Obedience again for the socialisation side of things for him. He use to really enjoy going.
  18. thanks guys can't wait to meet the mysterious Troy..
  19. About once a month... that's because someone will always spill something on charlie... tomato sauce, colesaw, chocolate topping etc! Longer is possible. Charlie doesn't have doggy odor or anything like that.
