Tks DBS! I hv read EVERYthing. That mostly referrs to real dwarfism. Did you notice any slight skeletal changes in yours. Did the effected one look physically different to their siblings? Co-incidentally met a true dwarf gsd today. Funny how things like this cluster. Never even heard of this a few days ago.

Really? There may be a training component in it then as i hv large sight hounds and do no allow running straight after feeding. My pattern is feed then bedtime at night and feed and go to work in the morning. Been working fir about 20 years now. They often put themselves to bed after dinner. And before someone comment that i might be missing something during the day. I thave THAT neighbour so trust me I wld hear! Meea

I hv had girls do this at this sort of age. Then they wee on every other dogs bed and settle on the last dry bed with a grumble of satisfaction. Generally they train/grow out of it tho one still does it when crankie so inmycase I hv put it down to maturing and misplaced dominance. As you hv said a structured environment does seem to help shape the behaviour away. Meea Edited to say - never had a boy do it. You need a girl to really hold a grudge!
