  4. Hi Everyone, I was wondering if there was a wonderfully brilliant person out there anywhere that could merge 2 photo's together for me?? I have a christmas shot of my kids and a christmas shot of my dog and I'd like to put the dog in with the kids, LOL I know it would have been easier if I could have just got the kids and the dog in one photo but you know that saying "Never work with Children or Animals...." well yeah, I found out why So is anyone able to help me?? Pretty Please........ Jodi
  5. Jim Bob (Duggar) , Larry (The Cable Guy) or Jeff (Foxwothy, You might be a redneck......) ??? :D
  6. I'm looking at getting a puppy next year (previously adopted a mature dog) and would love to recieve info like that, even if it's stuff they already know it's handy to have it there as a guide or maybe there will be something in there that they didn't know and will come in handy Having all the stuff written down would be a god send, I can't remember quite how many times I emailed Shar's breeder for the simplest things cause in the end even though I 'thought" I was prepared I had no idea
  7. Another one who would love pics of Pup from birth onwards (ie. a weekly shot), I know this may be very time consuming for breeders though

******Stupid Question Alert****** How is Dashshund pronounced I recently watched an american show and they way they pronounced it was different to they way I've always though of it, never actaully seeing any IRL etc. Jodi
  9. Hopefully your dog can stomach it, our local butcher sell roo tails for a great price, alas Shar pukes everytime she has roo However it is supposed to be good as it is less fat - another reason I wanted to use them cause Shar is on a diet
  10. Come and join us in the Labrador thread I can't help much with advice (I adopted a docile adult Lab, LOL) but others in the thread are breeders and also some members are awaiting the arrival of their new babies (I believe one of our members is picking up her baby about the same time as you??), so there are plenty of people there to share your tales of woe to and to get good advice
  11. Yep, Come by and say HI :D Jodi P.S Oh and pics are very muchly welcome too (hint, hint)
  12. Shar throws up when given a roo bone Not good, not good at all
  13. Sorry novice dog owner crawling in here to ask probably a really stupid question.....I recently took my (recently aquired) 7 year old Labrador to the vets to get an initial checkup and to get wormed. The vet wormed her for me and told me to come back in 3 months to get her wormed next. I'm now guessing that what she was given won't cover her for heartworm?? I did explain that I have no idea and would like her wormed for everything but maybe he has just wormed her for the basics?? If so what do I need to get?? Also the 3 month worming will cost about $80, is it cheaper to DIY at home?? Any help would be appreciated and sorry for crashing in one your thread APBT Jodi
  14. Our local butcher sells Kangaroo tail bones for $2 a kilo. Unfortunately Shar's stomach doesn't like them ( ) so I don't buy them anymore, lol. I am having trouble buying anything other than roo in our town for dogs bones though so I have the opposite problem, lol Jodi
  15. Hi there, About 3 weeks ago (gee thats gone fast) I adopted a 6 year old Labrador female (desexed). She is predominatly an outside dog (as she was used to when she came to us). I would like to know if it is possible to train an older dog to toilet in a certain spot?? She won't "go" on the ashpalt/concrete areas, always on the grass area. There is a seperate grass patch which runs along the inside of our yard which ideally I would like her to use for her toiletting instead of the main grass part, where childrens play equipment etc is, but was wondering how I would go about training her to go in a certain spot if it is even possible?? Sorry if it's a silly question but am still very much a novice owner who was extremmly lucky to get a hassle free gorgeous doggie for her first dog Thanks for any help Jodi
