great minds think alike.. its not a list without Cujo.. also wheres the pups from the buddies movies (you know air buddies, space buddies, santa buddies)

i wouldnt say we have a lot because we dont really hear about them that much unless they are BIG like this one has been and then its not very often that we end up with good outcomes like this. normally they end up with a slap in the wrist with a wet bus ticket..

I must say a lot of us Kiwis are really proud of the result that was reached in this case. We just wish that we got results like this a lot more often

that sucks.. but im glad to see we arent the only ones that have problems with so called breeders selling pups FAR to young

when i get into breeding i am hoping ym puppy buyers will keep me updated and that they will feel free to email or phone me any time for help if they need it as well.. I have a similar issue with my bitches breeder.. she hardly ever emails me back any more.. i wont be going back to her in the future i know that much.. the breeders arent doing themselves any favours cos i know that if anyone asks who to talk to to get a pup from i now recommend other breeders that i know.

thanks guys.. will look into that.. it always pays to be prepared and with the amount of earth movement going on round the world these days i just dont want to risk being caught out..

i am wanting to put together a first aid kit for my doggy (and throw some cat stuff in as well) and want ideas of what to have in it.

i am just starting out down the road to breeding in the future and i guess i am lucky in that i have an experienced breeder of the same breed who is also a friend of mine that is willing to help me along the way. OP get yourself a mentor if you can.. an experienced breeder of your chosen breed who is willing to work with you thru the process.. mentors are in my opinion worth their weight in gold....

i would get video footage of what they are doing and take it to animal control or the cops..

sounds like you guys have similar problems to what we have over here.. i made a complaint about a neighbours animals a good month or so ago and still havent seen any sign that they have been to check up.. in fact i should chase them up on that one..

over here in NZ most cities have a law that states that a person MUST be 16 before they are able to walk a dog. breaching that law results in a fine for the parents if they get caught.. i have done this in the past with my son and my rotti x.. i had his harness on and the lead i held was connected to the harness to give more pulling power for me if i needed it and my son would hold the lead connected to his collar.. now days tho with the fact that i have a Pom he can walk her without any help but i do tend to grab the lead and help him with her in some cases like crossing the road and such
