  1. Off to google a belfast sink, no idea what that is. Normal bath too hard, I don't want to have to lift dogs in and out of the bath and my back isn't up to the constant bending when washing a dog, its not the best.
  2. Yep, I mean similar to the washing machine. Not built in like a bath. Thanks everyone, you have given me some ideas. It will be inside, but there will be a pet flap in door to the outside in that room, so when I use it I'm sure I can stick the drainage hose through that and to the storm water outlet. Hmmm, good ideas!
  3. Hi gang I'm looking to build a new house next year and one of the things going in the mud room will be a Hydrobath, preferrably permanently plumbed in. Bronte has to have weekly baths for her skin and I think this idea is the best option to save my spare bathroom from becoming another dog invaded room and give my back some relief too. If you have one, I'm fascinated to understand how it works with the water storage tanks, because if its plumbed into the hot and cold taps why would you use this facility? And did you plumb the removal of waste water? Any and all help welcome.
  4. We won't make it this month either, it clashes with one of our obedience trials. I've got a bad feeling we won't make Oct either because its the same day as my besties 40th. Bugger, but we can't be in two places at once. Everyone have a great time, I'll be looking foward to photos and seeing you all in Nov. Btw, there is video of Bronte herding in the Videos to Share section of the Photos thread. She did a great job yesterday and got two qualifying passes for her next herding title - PT (Pre Trial). On to bigger and better things in herding next, competitive trials.
  5. Yep, she likes her sheep in a tight little bunch, but sometimes her timing and placement splits them, mind you she sure loves fetching them back. She's also good at heading sheep, which is something these sheep only need when they are stuck in a corner or something.
  6. Successful day's herding today with two qualifying passes for Bronte's PT. Here's a video of her second run. As you'll see winter herding isn't for the faint hearted or those with an aversion to wet and muddy conditions.
  7. CM as always Lotus is very photogenic and lovely. I really like that shot of Chester though, the B&W head shot with his lip caught up in his mouth, its shows his very cute soft mouth.
  8. Krisilin - Snail zoomies :p oh god, I'm crying, that was great. I love all these shots, but the grey's and whippy's are the bestest, they are just awesome zoomies.
  9. Give it a go CA. Bronte went to her first agility clinic last Thurs and took to it like a duck to water, she loved it. When the instructor was explaining the next obstacle I had to move away from all of them because she kept putting herself over and through them. She kept wanting to do the tunnel and apex ramp without me asking. By the end of a 2 hour session she had even pretty much got the hang of the see-saw and was even tipping it over by herself. It keeps bodies and minds active, what more would a Collie want?
  10. Simply adorable. By bringing home a Tentie you have simply downsized the body, not the capability or attitude, enjoy your time together.
  11. Awesome! Thanks for sharing Whippets. Loved seeing all the people patting those big bad scary (not) Greys outside the arena, excellent educational event.
  12. Bronte has Skin Barrier Dysfunction which presents like allergies, but isn't. This will have to be treated for throughout her life. She had (past tense) a growth plate fracture when she was six months, but its all better now, almost bionic. Mind you, if anything is going round, or there is something to slip on or trip over - she will do it. She's known as Bronte the Bubble Dog, because she should live in a cotton wool padded oxygen tent. Overall she's very happy healthy dog though.
  13. Look big Bronte and mini Bronte. Or is that mini Odie and big Odie?
  14. Look at this gorgeous pup...she's starting to look like an adult now.
  15. Bear thinks that if you are silly enough to lie on the ground you are fair game for being squashed.
