haha cheers dogslife, haven't heard of a duck being scared of water before thats hilarious. i just wish the duck wouldn't keep crapping on my cement then he'd be perfect

a similar thing happened to my sisters dog up the cape and they got it onto iv fluids from the ambo's up there. it was the only way they could gt the fluids in in time. I agree with everyone else, go to the vet asap

While a lot of people dissagree with Ceasar Milans methods i think he has quite a few simple ways of asserting you dominance without actually having to touch the dog which might be able to help you and your partner. Something as simple as making my dog walk down the stairs and out the gate behind me made an immediate and massive difference to my household

should have read your post better before posting. either way i hope you've helped poor terror out

I got one from america for my dog which has been great. it's designed for pulling but would work the same if you just used it for running. our dog can tow me for 8kms on my board and not pull up with any rubbing. I cant remember who sold it but its got Dean and Tyler written on it for a brand name and i got it off ebay for about $150aus

Hi Voloclydes Nice work introducing a bit dog to terror, i hope it goes a long way towards fixing him for you. we've got similar problems with one of ours but he's scared of any dog other then the ones he knew before he was attacked unfortunately a few times. our neighborhood used to have a lot of stray dogs.

Hey everyone, been a while since i've been on and i've accquired a new addition to the family since then. This is Rocky the very annoying non laying male duck who is 100% sure that he's a dog. He even eats dog food out of a dog bowl next to the dogs and has the balls to steal their food from their bowls. Hope you enjoy

haha love it mumof3 Thanks again everyone she's running around like nothing happened but is still pretty fat looking. At least she was the only one who pigged out. Have a good weekend

Thanks again everyone. We took her to the vet and after an xray they decided it was just that she had gorged herself. They kept her in there for an hour with some needle that made her spew and she came back out with half a waiste line again. It's a bit of a worry though when the vet spent an hour with her and took xrays and still thought she was a he Thanks again

i'll start making some calls thanks everyone

Both my dogs love to swim but i can't remember how they were at the start. My only advice would be to get in with your pup and make sure you don't panic and stay as relaxed as possible whatever happens.

I'd be a bit careful feeding whole large fish just because of the small rib bones but the tail and head have never been a problem

Awesome sounds like its not to abnormal then. he'll be six months soon so i'll weigh him and see how he goes. Have you got photos of yours? How big was his dad? There are photo's under breed sub section Mastiff in General discussion his name is Bruno they are when he was about 3-5mths old. Bruno's dad was about 130kg Never mind i found them, I started from pg12 and worked backwards. Not real smart when it was on the first page He looks great, Will be a huge dog by the looks of it.

Used to feed all our fish heads to mum and dads boxer he goes nuts for them. Wouldn't feed flat head because they have a lot of spines. samon and most of you surf fish are pretty good. Just try to stick with the fish with the least mount of spines. Trevali are a great one and fairly cheap if you have to buy them.

he's a mastiff cross thanks i'll have a look at the eagle food

I'd always been told that the grass eating was for added fibre. so maybe she's just a bit short of fibre in the food. Our rotti used to skip the grass eating and go straight for the horse poo.

I've read that at 6months they will be roughly 75% of there full grown height and on another post on general someone said that their vet told them that as a rough estimate if you double their 4month weight and add a few kg's you'll get a rough idea on full grown weight. I haven't tested either theory though so not sure how accurate they are. hope that helps
